Efficient and friendly staff, clean modern hotel, very comfortable bed and spacious rooms.

convenient for the airport, my reason for staying. I did not stay long enough to assess other aspects. I marked facilities down purely because of the points below.

Noise at night from adjoining room and in the corridor. Inability to receive outside telephone call in the bedroom,

The breakfest could be little bit richer (for the money)

The bar next to the hotel served a good breakfast

The noise was terrible, it felt as if I was in a box at the end of the runway, only single glazing windows flights finish at 12.00 and start at 5am-

food good. If on weekends need to book table or if having room service be prepared for delays if restaurant is full which it generally is. Or get your order in early..

they didn´t have my booking.com reservation on arrival and luckily they had a spare room. They were late with alarm call and didn´t tell me when taxi arrived. I was told to order room service in next 20 mins or I had to wait an hour for kitchen to be quieter at 7.15 on sat night. I had a young child and we had had a long journey to hotel and an early flight next morning and were very hungry so went to room and ordered 5 mins later to be told I had to wait an hour b4 could order. I complained and went for easy options for kitchen and insisted needed food b4 an hour and it came in 15 mins. So room good, food good but some of the extra attention to service would be better. Restaurant & bar a success so guest suffer slightly.

The room was very spacious and clean. The accommodation was new and proper: it was easy to find place for our things without the feeling of crowding.

The water pressure was very low at the shower.

I chose the hotel for it's value for money and it's convenience for the airport, as we had a morning flight. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a Beefeater within close proximity. Very easy to arrange early morning airport collection which the hotel arranged. Within walking distance of nice park also.

The good rate and closeness (10 minute ride with the bank holiday traffic at 5.30 am) to the Airport, yet quiet. Complimentary tea/coffee. We had the Family Room and with three teenagers (18, 15, 14) it was spacious enough, although the 2nd child bed on the floor was really hard. My son yelled 'ouch' when he crashed down:-) Bathroom supplies are basic, only shower gel, but adequate (the hotel offers bathroom packages for sale). Very polite wake-up call. We requested a minicab for our early morning flight. I'd been quoted £10-12 by a minicab company. When a black cab arrvived I thought 'Oh no' as they're usually much more expensive but we were charged only £6. The taxis charge £6 before 6 a.m., and £5 after 6 a.m. Very reasonable.

I was disappointed that an item we'd forgotten in the room (or taxi) cld not be found although we called the hotel immediately we arrived home. The check-in at midnight was painfully slow. When we arrived the agent was busy with another couple. He took simply ages. After 10 minutes, I asked the check-in agent if he would mind giving the room key to the kids so they could go to sleep, which he immediately did. The check-in agent was rather too thorough, he explained the form line by line. Although he was friendly, I was so tired and it felt like being at school. The room was very hot, with no possibilty to turn down the heating. Uncomfortable. But all-in-all for the five hours we stayed at the hotel it served our needs well.
