Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Bath. Car parking.
Wedding parties, over the odds, making lots of noise late into the morning. Having same guests placed around us at breakfast. Cupboard space lacking for longer stays.
Room size, condition, cleanliness, and that it was modern. Nice bathroom. Purpleness!!
Location was great for our needs and the restaurant was pleasant.
We stayed in number 2, during the night we was woken by guests walking passed the room talking and letting the doors bang. Early morning was the same with guests attending breakfast.
staff very helpful plenty of parking clean room
room too warm at night
Price of breakfasts, went down into maccelsfield for good breakfast alot cheaper.
Very comfortable bed, great breakfast.
location to shirgley hall and other interesting locations, easy to find, local taxies provided a good service
small tables at breakfast not big enough for all the plates etc when four people sat there staff very busy taking orders had to clear off plates to another table ourselves
It was nice to have a sofa to sit on in the room as an option to the bed. More comfortable when viewing t.v. Also enjoyed the continental breakfasts that were available at the restaurant just out of the door a few steps.
Knowing in advance the standard to expect and thsn getting it.
We were assigned a disabled room which we did not request which was a bit strange
Comfort and size of room Excellent breakfast Quiet location Clean Can walk to City centre (25 mins)
No WiFi signal in room Poor mobile reception
Rooms Beds Restaurant Breakfast
Missed a few slices of ham or cheese at breakfast
- Customer service from receptionist was fantastic and extremely helpful! - the bed was really comfortable. - breakfast was lovely!
Great staff! Rooms basic but clean and comfortable
Good size room, quiet, clean and a very good breakfast with excellent service.
When arrived they said the family room was only for 2 adults an 2 children and as we were 3 adults we really should not be allowed to stay in it. They did eventually agree as when we booked we did stipulate we were 3 adults sharing the room didn't understand what the problem was as there was a double, a single and a put you up, more than enough for 3 adults without using the camp bed!
The friendly staff, when we checked in the poor guy was rushed off his feet dealing with about ten people at once all attending the rewind festival at nearby Capesthorne hall He was calm and patient with everyone.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the bed was very comfortable
No quorn sausages at breakfast !
This was the perfect location for a music festival and the rooms and facilites are great.
The breakfast is over-priced, there is a Tescos 1 minutes driveaway I'd do that instead next time.
The night staff were excellent
That at 10.40 the resteraunt attached to the premier was closed
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed. Very clean.
I am just over 5ft tall, I struggled to step into the HIGH bath to shower. Disappointed with the length of time we had to wait for breakfast to be served. there were no Quorn (vegetarian) sausages available.
poor water pressure meant the shower was little more than a trickle
Clean, spacious, great food next door & staff in hotel and Pub brilliant.
Room size, cleanliness, staff helpfulness, food, general ambience.Location was good for onward travelling and for Peak District access.
Poor control of heat in the room. No aircon so had to use fans as night was warm. Not a good night's sleep because of this.
The hotel rooms were excellent and the staff proved to be friendly helpful and efficient.
The staff in the restaurant bar did not achieve the same level of efficiency and service as the hotel staff.
Certainly good value for money, location was quiet, rooms clean and comfortable and the location suited our needs for visiting relatives in Macclesfield. Good food at the restaurant attached
Nothing to add
Quality of bed and pillows, breakfast on offer and all staff made an effort
All of it
