Didnt like the noise from other rooms and corridor after seeing a sign saying quiet nights!
Rooms of high standard
Shower weak and Pub staff could be friendlier
All staff were fantastically helpful and courteous.
Shower whilst new was a bit to eco
beds breakfast location room service staff
Internet should be free TV channels poor
Clean, easy to get to, standard premier inn. Needs a bit of an update, though.
Breakfast was quite expensive and not very nice! It's also a lot more expensive than a travelodge, and the facilities are pretty similar.
Good breakfast, good receptionists
Old building, smell bad in the room
Combo well done and not value for money. Place could do with a good clean. Dust on all lamps and ornaments. Breakfast order wrong two mornings out of three and coffee cold. Hot breakfast served before continental was finished.. I was still eating my cereal.
bed quality staff helpfulness
bit tatty in places
The pub next door was nice. The shower was amazing. The staff were very nice.
The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the room next to and above us.
The staff was excelent Quite area with a relaxing atmosfear
The breakfast was over priced and the food served to us was of poor quality i had a half cooked sausage and when i orded the breafast the following day and ask for it to be well cooked they burnt it .
as usual the staff here are first class
The hotel is due to undergo a refurbishment when in truth its really the adjoining pub that could do with freshening up
quite expensive for a room with no breakfast included
The welcome from Jo was lovely and very helpful. Room was quiet and very clean, even when I came in at 2am from working the gentleman on the night shift was happy to see me to my room.
bad sleep on lumpy/spring mattress even after a 8 hour drive and 400 miles. I thought I would of slept once my head hit the pillow. Breakfast was only staffed by one person (not enough) breakfast it self was no where near the standard of the dinner.
Bed uncomfortable, 1st time ever I have used the good sleep guarantee, had a room in the quiet zone, however needed windows open as too hot, got noise from smokers outside the pub, the service in the pub was awful, many people including myself waited over an hour for food, food poor, many meals refunded, manager lazy and not enough staff.
The room I stayed in was comfortable and spacious, everything you normally expect from a Premier Inn
The hotel is joined to a pub where food and drinks are available. The tables were sticky, the food was poor, and the staff were not courteous. I ended up travelling out to eat at night rather than using the onsite facilities.
Welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room
Staff were brilliant, espec. Danielle, breakfast was good
Room was clean, friendly staff.
In need of a revamp
The staff were really friendly and attentive. Very pleasant stay!
The rain :)
I thought that Dannielle? who was on reception when we arrived on Saturday afternoon and served breakfast on Sunday morning was perfect and made my daughter feel special with the attention given.Danielle also sorted out our twin bed room which had been made up as a double, whilst we went for tea.
I felt the refreshments left in the room i.e. two teas or coffees per person as mean when it could not have been much more cost to have been a bit more generous.
whole thing needs a revamp not quick fortnight makeover it was like being in undertakers in the bar breakfast not good for money after waiting for 20 minutes we have stoped much better hotels for less money .
Friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast
Much as expected for the price
comfy bed/car park/inexpensive
the adjacent restaurant needs a thorough clean i.e. the surfaces.
Staff were extremely polite
Given wrong timings for restaurant and ended up having to eat elsewhere.
The Staff, Top Marks.
The roadside Premier Inn sign. Must be improved! The Sign is easy to see when travelling north, to Macclesfield. However it can only be seen when one gets to within 10 metres from the entrance, when coming from the north ( Macclesfield). Being that it is on a busy road right opposite the Council Yard entrance, this is much too late. Or in our case we sailed right pass. In fact when one is concentrating on the road and looking for the sign and is bombarded by the great number of Fayre and Square advertising boards it is impossible to imaging that the Premier Inn is part of the complex, as there is just no indication of it. I was told it will be all refurbished in Autumn 2014, therefore I do hope that the sign will be repositioned or made part of the signage for the Fayre and Square. As is it is the only thing about the place to comment about.
