Off junction 6 of highway M20, with a riverside location about 440 yards from the Museum of Kent Life, this hotel has comfortable, well-priced rooms with private bathrooms and free parking. The Premier Inn Maidstone (Sandling) is only 2.5 miles (2.5 miles) from Maidstone town center. The hotel has a 24-hour reception desk and all of the large, clean and modern rooms have satellite TV and telephone/modem points. Wi-Fi is available for an additional fee. The on-site Beefeater restaurant serves freshly cooked char-grilled food. Some rooms can take 2 adults and up to 2 children (under 16 years). The 2 children also get a free full breakfast when accompanied by an adult eating a full breakfast. An all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast is available each morning and includes scrambled, fried, poached or boiled eggs, and pork or vegetarian sausages. There is also a wide continental selection. The staff were very friendly The only down fall is the dated feel to the rooms especially the bath rooms , they are in need of update the showers have no power at all .

The rooms are clean and spacious and the location by the river is very pleasant. The separate building for the Beefeater meant that the hotel itself was very quiet at night. An excellent hotel for a short stay - though it would be nice to have a lounge area for groups to sit for a while. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food at the Beefeater is excellent. The only complaint I have is that the lane from the road to the carpark is unlit and quite dangerous at night if approaching on foot, especially as some of my group are quite elderly and not so nimble on their feet.

Friendly staff. Ease of access. Clean comfortable,well equiped room. The Beefeater Inn. The only issue and not your fault was the traffic noise from the M20 which I found a nuisance in the early hours - my wife did not hear it so perhaps just me.

Thought the location here was beautiful, right by the river and pub! The reception staff (Tracey/Diane) were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping staff friendly too. Would recommend and would go back again.

Great location with the river and walking/jogging path. There was always someone smoking right at the entrance of the Inn most times when arriving or departing for the day. Reduces image and affects the many non-smokers about to try enjoying a meal next door.
