The reception staff were accomodating and kind. The pub/restaurant staff polite and lunch was good. We were provided with only one hand and one bath towel for a double bedroom room. The bedroom staff were noisy and talkative in the corridor during the day when we were trying to sleep.

The room was booked for us by family who live close by so we used it as a b&b over New Year. From start to finish we found all the staff to be friendly, helpful and professional. The booking was late so we had the disabled bedroom as the only one left, but accepting this for what it is we have no complaints.

The pub next door was nice, the room was clean. The attitude of the lady who served breakfast, although she was struggling on her own but she was quite rude. Hotel was also badly signposted.

The gentleman on reception was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The lady working at reception didn't appear to believe that we had arranged early entry to our room. We were woken up in the morning by an absolutely overwhelming smell of cigarettes, in spite of signs everywhere indicating that all rooms were completely non-smoking.

Very pleasant front of house staff. I did have one small complaint which was handled very well. Not resolved but to be honest there wasn't alot they could do. But overalla pleasant stay and would happily stay again if in the area. The TV signal was rubbish. Need updating, look reallly out of place now. Large and cumbersome. Small flat screen would look far better and take up less room. Biscuits with the tea would be nice and only one tea bag each which is abit mean. Breafast over cooked.

Reception staff were helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The eating arrangements at the pub next door were convenient and it was hardly noticeable that the hotel and pub are separate entities. The staff in the pub were also helpful and pleasant however the actual restaurant was quite dark and almost cave like but there was a notice to say that refurbishment was in hand. Brighter lighting and a face lift will not go amiss and should make my slight critisism obsolete. There was nothing to dislike. A comfortable quiet room and a good nights sleep.

It was good enough for one night. The breakfast was not well organised. As it was a buffet you really needed to have a tray to collect up your things, as we had to make several trips to collect our cereal, tea and juice. Also the orange juice was, I hate to say, terrible!

Location Disabled room. When drying my hair the mirror was not in a position to be able to see what I was doing, had to kneel on the floor on my folded up dressing gown. The kettle/tea & coffee making facilities were on a shelf that had I been in a wheelchair would have been far to high to reach safely. Very noisy room at the front of the hotel and was woken by cars that were parked right in front of the windows leaving in the morning.Room above was also noisy late in the evening.

The restaurant was just next door. You didnt even need to go outside. Just straight through the door leading into the restaurant. We stayed at room 39 and when we entered the toilets stank of urine. Wasnt pleasant. we had trouble finding our room. it was like a maze. i did see some signs telling you where but it wasnt enough, there is a critical point you need to turn and there should be a sign but there isnt so i went the wrong way. i did get lost and had to ask a cleaner to direct me. key to the door gets stuck and hard to pull out sometimes and with the key in the lock it kind of feels loose and wobbly. gives you a feeling the place is old. lock should be replaced. room was small compared to other premier inn i stayed. not enough floor space. though the price was slightly lower than other premier inn i still didnt think it was a good deal with the bad points i pointed out above. overall i wasnt really happy with my stay and thought i wasted money. should have went to another one.

It was pretty easy to find and stay at with not all the hustle of a big chain They wouldn't sell us internet after 1am! I mean, it was $10 pounds for 24 hours which is really expensive but they wouldn't even sell it after 1am. We were from the usa and so adjusting to the time zone but weren't allowed to purchse it! Seems backwards...
