Clean, country looks, good facilities to eat attached

Our friends room wasn't ready at check and she had to share our room for an hour to shower and change. Not good.

    Comfy rooms/beds. Helpful reception staff.

Somewhat chaotic at breakfast- one poor guy all on his own. He managed incredibly well despite the lack of support, but the support should have been there for him

Very friendly reception, including a glass of orange juice while we were checking in as the weather was so hot. Our comment about a noisy guest, at midnight, in the room above was dealt with without fuss..

It's just a shame that the restaurant - which is clearly not under the control of Premier Inns - couldn't raise their game to match. Mike, the waiter on duty, was on his own dealing with an influx at breakfast who all came in together.

Pleasant greeting form staff and room very clean and comfortable. Would definitely return to hotel but not to eat at the Boddington Arms!

The pub next door was altogether a different experience. Service not great, food below average and over priced, beer selection shocking. It let's the hotel down. Breakfast was tasty however only one member of staff serving approx 30 people which led to chas; no cups, plates, cutlery and people complaining openly!

Quick Check in and check out. Great breakfast and good food available during the rest of the day. Very comfortable beds.

Would have liked more than one coffee sachet and tea bag each available in the room.

    bed very comfortable

shower only for short people - sadly it seems all premier inn hotels seem to suffer from this! no public transport routes near to the hotel from railway station or airport

The location was perfect as my son lived a short distance away, very open felt countryfied. very quite unlike a few others we have stayed in.

We always try to get the cheaper deals that you have but have never been able to get one as yet. Maybe you could email us when they are available.

Helpful, approachable staff - receptionist was happy to accommodate my request to change my room from front of hotel to quieter rear of hotel. Enjoyed my meal in the adjoining 'Boddington Arms'. Continental breakfast good value particularly if you have a large appetite as supply was endless. Would stay again.

First room was noisy from road which is close to Inn and was very warm - not a problem as my request to change was accommodated.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. While there was a charge for WiFi it worked well and the weekly rate was not ridiculous.

A little further out from the town center (restaurants, train station) than I would prefer. Restaurant at the hotel was not very good.

Quiet, despite near to airport. Staff very pleasant and helpful with young children

Cot was not obvious and not made up in the room when we arrived at 9.30pm after a long journey. Staff were ver quick to offer help when I spoke to them

The hotel seemed immersed in the middle of nature and I liked the quiet of it all. The room was spacious and the king-size bed comfortable, I felt at home. The full English breakfast was great.

The hotel prides itself on giving guests a good night's sleep. The hotel was definitely quiet and the bed comfortable, however there was a lamp right outside my window that snuck through the curtains at night, and so it wasn't really dark. I would suggest using shutters or moving the outdoor lamps so they don't brighten the rooms at night. Another negative aspect is that the road from the Wilmslow center to the hotel can be unpleasant to walk.

Attached to a carvery restaurant which we visited as soon as we arrived as we were seriously hungry. Good size room with all the usual facilities that you would expect from a Premier Inn. Clean room with nice bathroom. Easy to get to from the motorway.

We had a meeting in Wilmslow and this was the closest hotel we could get last minute. It was a bit too far out of Wilmslow for our liking as we did not want to drive as parking can be a pain. It is walkable but as it always seems to be raining in Manchester when we visit we did not want to get soaked through.

Being so close to the common and the lake was wonderful. We had to take a car back to Manchester airport and it was only a 20 min drive.

    Nothing.
