Score from 405 reviews Very good
Plenty of free car parking, clean room/bathroom, nice hot powerful shower, large comfortable bed, pub had a decent atmosphere and the food was ok and reasonably priced, close to Manchester airport (15mins max) I asked for a quiet room and that is what I got and had an uninterrupted nights sleep.
Breakfast starting at 7.00am was too late for me on this occasion but this is only a minor thing.
The hotel its self was gud clean
There was absolutely nothing for the kids to do
Friendly and helpful staff
The external security light was just outside my room - and kept coming on and off all night. The curtains didn't fit the window properly so the room kept lighting up - it was a bit like sleeping in a room with disco lights! Also, the associated restaurant was not very nice - and there were no others within walking distance.
All staff very friendly and helpful. Meals in restaurant very good. Excellent beds, good nights sleep. A very good experience of Premier Inn. Would certainly use again.
No toiletries in bathroom. Realize this is reflected in the price.
Location was great for event, staff extremely polite and helpful.
Clean and functional
Some aircraft noise
Excellent bed... very comfy. A nice clean place. Basic inside but clean and comfortable. Perfect for its price point.
The beds really are amazing. Massive and comfortable. It was great to have a choice of either a soft or hard pillow too. The level of customer service experienced in both the hotel and the attached bar/restaurant was exceptional.
Probably our only complaint was something that the staff/hotel can't do much about for now - we could hear footsteps very clearly from the person above us when we were trying to get to sleep. Earplugs soon fixed it! The hotel is soon for a refurb, so perhaps better insulation from floor-ceiling may be on the work order :)
Friendly staff. Nice size room. It was what you expect from a premier inn. Next to an OK pub.
Thought £82 for a twin with no breakfast was quite steep for what it was.
Convenience for location
Close to Manchester Airport so perfect for an overnight stay prior to an early departure. Pub/restaurant adjacent was nice for dinner/breakfast. £6.25 fine for continental.
£70 seems a little steep for a night in a Premier Inn.
Staff Breakfast Bed
Dropped our bags off at reception in the morning, returned at midnight, checked in and our bags were already in our room. Check out quick and easy. Breakfast was good. Bedroom was a good size. Can't fault it.
good standard, clean rooms, friendly staff
the next door pub for breakfast etc - dark and uninviting, with left over cigarette stubs in ashtrays on the tables outside near the entrance
The staff was helpful with directions to the airport and places to eat.
It was a very niceley presented hotel
The bedroom was boiling and the fan made lots of noise kept me awake all night needs air con then the breakfast. Rooms aircon was way to high the room was freezing and left myself my daughter and my mother in alot of discomfort couldnt wait to warm up
Price, rooms clean and comfortable, friendly helpful staff
Lack of vegetarian choices in adjacent restaurant
Clean, country looks, good facilities to eat attached
Our friends room wasn't ready at check and she had to share our room for an hour to shower and change. Not good.
Close to Manchester Airport
Good food and nice athmosphire.
Comfy rooms/beds. Helpful reception staff.
Somewhat chaotic at breakfast- one poor guy all on his own. He managed incredibly well despite the lack of support, but the support should have been there for him
Very friendly reception, including a glass of orange juice while we were checking in as the weather was so hot. Our comment about a noisy guest, at midnight, in the room above was dealt with without fuss..
It's just a shame that the restaurant - which is clearly not under the control of Premier Inns - couldn't raise their game to match. Mike, the waiter on duty, was on his own dealing with an influx at breakfast who all came in together.
Location, food even though restaurant out of action,no air con, staff coped very well. hugs of pimms were best we've ever had, plenty fruit and properly made by excellent barman
