Altrincham is a little market town, with nice shops and plenty coffee houses and bars.
It's very pleasant in the summer. Lots of places to eat outside, plus there is an indoor market hall for eating. Great for children.
There is great transport links to get to wherever you wish. Airport, Manchester City centre ect!
Basically anywhere, there is transport to get you there.

Helpful, friendly staff and an okay buffet breakfast but the room was basic and very noisy from traffic. If you live in a quiet place remember to ask for a room away from the road. It was a COSY king room, all bed (two singles pushed together) without much space, very basic compact bathroom all looked a little tired.

Its a very nice little town with decent town centre despite there being two big supermsrkets in the middle . Good wetherspoons and lots of cafes . The Metro into Manchester is fab and easy to use . A nice feel about the streets and quite relaxed. Even the rough sleepers are posh ..

I only stsyed here because of the cheap bnb easy access by both bus and train (bus £3.80 single) from Msnchester airport when forced to find overnight accommodation. Just up the road from bnb Stamford Park was a pleasant open space.

A charming town centre, plenty of outside dinning and pubs.
A charming town centre, plenty of outside dinning and pubs. Hotel 10 mins from travel interchange, giving access to trams, rail and bus. Easy access to Manchester, Trafford Centre and Airport. Town felt safe day and night. Quite affluent area.
We have wanted to stay in Altrincham for a while and almost booked one of the hotels. However, we found and chose Ashfield. We have thoroughly enjoyed our little stay. It is such a cosy property. The owner obviously has high standards, as this is evident in the detail. The bed/bedding/pillows were super comfortable. The hosting was abssolutely perfect. Couldn't fault a thing. It is a short walk from a Tesco Extra, Sainsburys, Vue and the town centre. We will definately be returning.
A quiet location but only a short walk to Hale village High Street. The owner came to meet us on check in and offered us the choice of 3 rooms as we were staying for 3 weeks which was wonderful. We ended up in a separate studio apartment which was better comfortable, warm and well furnished to make it fell like a room at home rather than a clinical hotel room.
Owner didnt live on site but was easy to contact, extremely helpful and quick to respond to any requests or requirements
Nothing. It was all dreadful. The hotel refused to reply to Booking.com and also refused to reply to me when we were seeking to cancel or change to booking due to there being no trains running on the hottest day of the year and rail companies telling passengers not to travel.
good sized property, garden was good for the kids, off street parking (would have been a nightmare without it as was a match day and there was no off street parking available. Altrincham football ground is at the end of the road
Staff were friendly .Breakfast was ok value for.money room was old outdated 1970's large bed in a tiny room not what i would consider value for money doesn't come close to Travelodge and Premier inn for quality .
Good stay but within a family home so not as prestine as hotel environment and not as organised but sufficient for what i needed. Cheap and host is friendly. Convenient to town centre and amenities
Staff were very helpful.
Room was comfortable.
Breakfast was nice, helped fill a gap for the day.
Bed was comfortable to sleep in.
Hotel was in ideal location. No trouble in area.
It is a good location and really the only option if you want to stay in a hotel at Altrincham. Even though there were events each night it was not as noisy as it could have been.
Comfortable, spacious. All mod cons!
Couple of convenience stores, 2 takeaways and a bakery on the doorstep as well as easy access to local park and Altrincham centre.
Very close to markets, train station, hockey rink and many pubs/ restaurants. Altrincham is a wonderful area to visit. The hotel is in an ideal location.
We loved our stay at Ashfield and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in the area. The service was amazing very welcoming, and helpful.
