The hotel is a bit impersonal
Location Location Location
Room was abit cramped
We found the bed very uncomfotable and the heating was poor my husband was cold
Checked in at 2 pm and didn't have to check out till 12 mid day . We were able to leave our bags until 7 pm which was really convenient for us. Excellent breakfast too .
There wasn't anything .I would have liked another hand towel but I asked for one so not a problem .
Location was perfect. Some fabulous restaurants nearby.
Unfortunately the car park did not recognise the 20% off discount.
Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff!! Worth to stay next time!
Excellent staff, especially in restaurant.
Location - tram to old Trafford 30 second walk away. 10 mins to arndale shopping centre. Extremely comfortable bed.
Only the water heater doesn't work
Location, breakfast, pillows, mattress
Close to everything train. Nite life great bars resurants wil b back again.
Rooms a bit small but no big deal.
There was this nice balance between personal service and self service. There was a self check - in, but the personnel was ready to assist. The 'breakfast' personnel were very cheerful, and the breakfast was nice (from croissants and eggs to cereals, yoghurt and fruit). Therefore, I don't mind to pay in advance.
Nearness to Bridgewater Hall - in bed only 10 minutes after concert ended!!
The facilities and food were excellent
Location perfect, room a good size and well furnished. Breakfast Ok. Staff very friendly and helpful. And when I complained about mattress and dirty shower, they refunded the full cost of my stay without any quibble.
Bar shut at 11pm - just as my friends and I returned from our dinner and in need of a nightcap..no joy. Mattress truly uncomfortable - I was awake in pain for much of the night and gave up at 6am. Shower had mould and was dirty.
Excellent customer service
The gym located in the hotel resulted in a very disturbed early morning, to the sound of loud music and an instructor shouting! However, the problem was taken seriously by the management team and they gave us our money back without my having to ask for it - a sign of excellent customer service.
Noisy, even on high floor On site restaurant ok for breakfast, but evening meal was very poor Many options not available, took a long time to serve, order wrong when eventually arrived Took money off the bill, however waiter was apologising to nearly everyone, stay clear
Rooms by tram side hear tram every 20 mins!! Nightmare
Room was spacious and a bonus having a room at the end of the corridor - only one neighbour. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Staff were very obliging and helpful.
I stayed here with my 3 daughtet, we haf a family room. It was nice and clean, could of been a bit bigger, but it was fine. We had breakfat on the morninh and that was great, my daughters really enjoyed it. It's in a great location, not to far from the centre. The tram run just outside, again great.
we had a fold up bed, which was very small, and very hard. The air con was on, we all woke up feeling very stuffy, but I turned it off during the evening.
Location, convenience, cleanliness, lives up to the Premier Inn standard I've come to expect. Previously stayed in 2012, only notable changes were the key card systems. Switched from magnetic to NFC, which saves on trips to reception because they can't be demagnetised! Requested a room overlooking the Manchester Central hall and received one which did just that, room 609. Even though it was a bank holiday weekend and the hotel was supposedly full, there was no sense of that in the hallways or in the rooms. Everything was nice and isolated.
Ceiling of bathroom looked like it had damp damage (room 609) and the door handle was slightly loose, but overall they are minor things. I'd prefer it if things weren't expensive, but I guess location and dates booked had a factor in on that. I think the hotel could do with a minor refresh, touching up on small things like I mentioned above just to keep on top of things so it doesn't look so dated. Would've appreciated power sockets next to the bed, saves having to get up to reach my phone in the morning.
The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff were very polite and helpfull
Closeness to canal st
Noise of what I assumed was water pipe on 4th floor, sounded like alarm screaming all night :-(
