Score from 626 reviews Very good
There was this nice balance between personal service and self service. There was a self check - in, but the personnel was ready to assist. The 'breakfast' personnel were very cheerful, and the breakfast was nice (from croissants and eggs to cereals, yoghurt and fruit). Therefore, I don't mind to pay in advance.
Nearness to Bridgewater Hall - in bed only 10 minutes after concert ended!!
The facilities and food were excellent
Rooms by tram side hear tram every 20 mins!! Nightmare
Room was spacious and a bonus having a room at the end of the corridor - only one neighbour. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Staff were very obliging and helpful.
I stayed here with my 3 daughtet, we haf a family room. It was nice and clean, could of been a bit bigger, but it was fine. We had breakfat on the morninh and that was great, my daughters really enjoyed it. It's in a great location, not to far from the centre. The tram run just outside, again great.
we had a fold up bed, which was very small, and very hard. The air con was on, we all woke up feeling very stuffy, but I turned it off during the evening.
The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff were very polite and helpfull
Closeness to canal st
Noise of what I assumed was water pipe on 4th floor, sounded like alarm screaming all night :-(
Usual good customer service and decent quality accommodation for the price.
Unforgiving mattresses – we still have painful backs and hips three days after staying. Very little sleep and constant turning over to try to get comfortable.
With premier inn you know you're getting a certain standard. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely
Staff very helpful, buffet breakfast exceptional very close to tram to get into town centre
Great location, easy access to Central Manchester
Car parking charges
Location Comfort etc Really nice meals
Lack of parking
The lady at Reception, Zoe helped me with a situation - was really friendly. The bed was comfortable with fresh clean linen.
Rooms could do with some warm lighting, feels industrial at times.
The hotel was hot and full of notices telling people not to smoke everywhere. Felt like an institution. The website said it had a gym but didn't say you had to pay. The check-in system was dreadful and took forever. The first room I went to had someone in it. For an extra £10 I could have stayed at the Hilton.
Perfectly situated near the wedding venue & short walk from Oxford Rd station. Nice & clean & no fuss.
The helpfulness as we arrived earlier than expected able to store cases and come back later and also upon leaving the same as our event didnt finish until evening
We used it for the Manchester international tattoo show at the gmex so location was perfect, the room was super clean and comfortable the stuff were all helpful and always had a smile on their faces
Nothing to dislike about it
Great location, comfy clean
wifi not included but it is available
Just a few minutes walk from the center, but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.
No facecloth in the bathroom.
The option to choose a pillow that suited me.
Would have liked little bottles of shampoo and conditioner and a shower cap.
Lovely staff, great service. Hotel is really clean and food is good. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it is centrally located in Manchester.
Had to wait until late into the afternoon to get checked into room as they had been busy the night before.
location excellent for our purpose of attending comic con at Manchester Central. Close to city centre and shops. Costa Coffee next to the hotel restaurant. Our room located on the back was spacious and quiet plus the basic necessities we needed. Staff very friendly, the bar was nicely decorated and relaxed in atmosphere. They stored our luggage after check out at 12.00.
No plug socket close to the bed to charge mobile phone, if an alarm is required. Although hair dryer is supplied if like me you use hair straighteners there was no socket close to the mirror to see. The early closing of the hotel bar at 23.00, but close to city centre if further drinks are required. Possibly more than 2x tea coffee and sugar could be provided in the rooms although staff at reception were more than happy to supply us with some more.
