Everyone was so friendly, and the family room was great. The comfort and cleanliness of the hotel was superb. Real value for money.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly, and once in the vicinity of the lifts, the hotel begins to look much brighter and more welcoming. Our room was very large, airy and with panoramic views of the city. Pity about the lack of hairdryer. But great value comfy room. Would stay again.
Arriving on a dark, cold rainy night by car, we went round and round the roadworks till we found the entrance. Santa lady had given up! The descent from the car park to Reception is grim-the worst sort of 60s municipal car park. And it was wet and cold.
Only complaint was no heating in the bathroom, so on a very cold night it was freezing in the bathroom when I got up to go to the loo
Spacious room Recently refurbished Great breakfast
Comfiest bed ever! Great breakfast
We had cold water on the morning to get washed in.
Area...walking distance to everything Comfort of big bed no noise Staff very friendly ( Julie & bar staff ) Room Breakfast was amazing Overall....fab palce to stay
Toilet flushing from other room was noisey in our bathroom, waking me up in morning :( shut bathroom door and its not so bad. We were on first floor.
Friendly and helpful staff.
It was a little cold
The room was excellent size for family, very spacious, lovely bathroom
There was no heating as the system on that floor was being 'upgraded'. I was not informed of this until I arrived in the room. The outdoor temperature was minus 5 and there was snow on the ground. A discount should most definitely have applied to guests who had to accept this situation.
Staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. They couldn't do enough for us.
Bed should have been a king size!
The staff are excellent especially Margaret. Didn't have 1 single complaint. Whenever I had a problem the staff solved it immediately and with no trouble or hassle. Their understanding of some troubles I had was taken care of and I am obliged to them. Very close to the city and only 5 mins walk next to every place there is in the city. The breakfast was really good. Dinner at the restaurant was perfect and was really pleased with everything. WiFi is now free and very reliable.
The only thing that I would recommend is to at least place a telephone in the room. But that is a very small thing which can easily be fixed!!
Staff were fantastic, always a really nice smile from them, nice relaxede atmosphere and staff always ready to assist. 10 out of 10
Cannot think of anything. There was a problem withy noise in the night, like a toilet being constantly flushed, but could not say that was the fault of the hotel or staff.
Lengthy check in delay due to poor training of staff due to IT problems
Location excellent for Manchester arena. Rooms first class.
Parking is a bit of a problem, but space is limited in town.
my whole experience was brilliant, when I was booking in I asked for a lower floor room, I don't like lifts, I got one. staff where lovely
they were busy so I couldn't get an evening meal till after 8 but I was going to a concert so that was no use to me, it was my own fault though as I was asked when booking in if I wanted to book a table and I declined at that time
Cleanliness and bed comfort
Long delay trying to get breakfast and being served in bar. Seem to find difficulty above normal during busy times in coping.
comfiest nights sleep ever. Want one of their beds.
Easy to find Good Location Central Good Value Helpful Staff
Reception Staff very unhelpful and rather rude.
There was no room service
We were impressed with this hotel. Room was very clean, be comfortable, and it was surprisingly quiet considering the central location. All in all very pleasant.
Loved the location, literally two mins walk from the shops. Staff were really friendly and the room was more than comfortable for the two of us. Great value for money.
The only thing we didn't like was the advertised on site parking. When we arrived there was one space left in the teeny tiny car park, otherwise we'd have had to pay at the pay and stay car park next door. Advertisement was a little misleading.
The hotel is still having some of its bedrooms refurbished but the rest ofvthe hotel has been finished. It's in a fantastic location for shopping, sightseeing and for going to gigs. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We were on a lower floor and could hear some outside traffic noise. It wasn't enough noise to complain about but we could still hear it.
