Great location, right in the middle of town. Close to museums, public transport, restaurant, theatres, etc. Good service at check in. Particularly appreciated being able to check luggage at mid morning on the day of our arrival. Aside from the bed and bath room, the furniture in our room was not clean Stains on the couch were particularly unpleasant. As a result, the room felt unkleen and my wife felt somewhat unconfortable throughout our stay in the room. The hotel would need a good indepth house kleening.

Met expected standards of Premier Inns which I tend to use when staying in city locations. Good site, comfortable, very helpful staff and very acceptable menu and standards in restaurant.

Hotel is in a great location. A nice walk into the city centre takes 20 minutes. Shops are there and so is the public transport. The rooms are nice and clean and have a very decent bathroom space too. Breakfast is a buffet and you have a good choice too. TV list is decent too. Staff is very helpful and attend to any of your questions in a most professional manner. Even when I had a problem with regards to the room keeping, the duty manager sorted out the problem to my satisfaction. Good Job !! It is only the bathroom extractor fan that let out an annoying sound when it was on. Otherwise, nothing to complaint about.

Most staff were very helpful offering useful information about the hotel and a brilliant Chinese that we tried out on Princess St. The rooms were comfortable and clean with minimal amount of noise from other guests. Breakfast facilities were brilliant and a lovely way to sart the day. Only areas for slight criticism are we were given confusing/wrong directions to Old Trafford however these were from a member of staff unfamiliar with Manchester so was forgivable. Secondly the pillows are to big and gave me terrible back/neck ache. Some variations in size need to be available. Other than that it was a good budget stay with a brilliant location!

Room spacious and functional, bed comfortable, everything was clean. The extent of the evening menu surprised us and was very tasty. Good choice for breakfast. Reception was impersonal (although the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful). People returning late at night/early hours were noisy and I was woken at least 5 times but this was not the fault of the hotel. Also noise from sirens from emergency services several times.

I appreciated the breakfast and its setting: the restaurant is pleasant, warm, well decorated, with big windows and a lovely view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The general decor (corridors, rooms), is rather anonymous: one could be anywhere - no connection with the city (ex. prints, posters in the room). We found very inconvenient the fact that it was not possible to open/close the room window without asking the staff. There was a far too strong, persistent, disturbing smell of home perfume in the corridors. The check-in area was not very welcoming: small and very airport-like.

I thought the room rate was expensive. The room we stayed in had a damp musty smell. Also we only had one bath towel and one hand towel which was not good enough for a room that was nearly £100 for one night, disappointed!!!!!

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was good value. The other residents were noisy with doors banging at early hours, there was a noise of dripping water, asume from a leaking gutter all night which didn't make for the best nights sleep.

Location and reasonably friendly, helpful staff. Room we were given on arrival was not ready. So then we had to wait for a while for the next room (while receptionist dealt with a new bunch ic customers). The "double" room we were then allocated to had only one set of towels. On the second night we were forced to vacate the room because of a false smoke alarm. Avers very peaceful sleep. Regardless of the above, the hotel is overpriced given the extremely basic facilities it provides as breakfast and wifi come at an extra cost, for example. For just a little bit more per night one can sleep at more upmarket, centrally located hotels in Manchester.
