The customer service provided by the reception still was excellent. Thed food qualiity was OK but they should refrain from microwaving pastry as it made the pie I had very soggy and not very nice. The way they microwave pastry

It was pleasent warm and comfortable, just what we needed for a break. Near the countryside and conviently near to Manchester. Very pleasent staff. It was a shame that in a double room that there was only one set of towels. Also one of the wall lights was not working and light over the mirror was working but was crooked.

I liked the decor of the rooms, and the service. I did not like the location, it wasvery inconvenient and we spent a lot of money on taxis

Friendley Staff, Large room , good hotel location for exploring the countery side including the peak district. The room is equiped with everything you normally find in 3-4 star hotel. The breakfast in the next door pub is a real value for money. The bed was very uncomfortable, the matress was very stiff.

No draught beer, as advertised, (Theakstons or Bombadier) either on Friday or Saturday. No salad for any of the evening meals on Saturday. No natural yoghurt at breakfast (Saturday). Staff very apologetic, but obviously poor management/organisation.Also, television not working on the Saturday night. We were offered an alternative room, but did not feel inclinr=ed to move.

I lost my car keys and the reception staff were very helpful and did everything possible to assist me until they were located. At weekends the breakfast still ends at 10:00 am (all hotels are the same) so we missed the breakfast both days we stayed at the hotel, as we got up late after nights out. After all we were on a relaxing break.

The lady on reception on arrival and departure was excellent, very friendly, welcoming, efficient and informative. The location was excellent for our purposes and the online driving instructions very useful and hotel easy to find. Room clean and had all that we needed, extra milk etc readily available on request. Only downside was there was a wet towel in the bath on our arrival. Also being able to buy newspapers in the morning would be a good idea, more likely to stop at hotel for a coffee etc after breakfast !

Duvet covers were very comfortable Got called by hotel at 2100 to ask if I still wanted the room. Think they were trying to sell it to someone else...

“Great location, and excellent value for money. Clean rooms and friendly staff. New person free check in desks which really speeded up the check in process, as everyone seemed to arrive at 2pm! A great premier inn ” Ashlie, Edinburgh |
