Extremely helpful staff. Very convenient location. Execellent breakfast at nearby Wilton Arms - good value for money, lovely staff.
TV not working, no TV guide available, yet this was stated in the room literature - member of staff on duty managed to sort it out by bringing a TV from another room. She was working single-handedly and had to check in a guest whilst she was doing this. She was very pleasant and nothing seemed any trouble. No phone, yet room literature gave instructions on numbers to dial. Cleanliness not as good as previous stays. Dust and hairs in corners of room particularly the bathroom floor around the bath and behind the door - very low standard, not up to expectations, should be addressed without delay.
Clean room friendly staff very basic but good value for money.
Rooms are a bit dated and although bathroom was clean it smelt very musty. Also distance from town centre was a bit further than anticipated and cost a fair bit in public transport.
The pluses about the hotel were location, room size and facilities. Bed was large with a nice bathroom. Room was cleaned well. Free car park and wifi is also a bonus.
Reception Staff seemed disinterested but did the very basics to get by. Hotel has 3 floors and no lift. Damp smell throughout hotel.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location. Nice size room. Pub next door so was nice to walk over for dinner.
You could hear a lot of noise from other rooms especially a lot of creaking above us just purely from someone walking about. Would have liked the room to be a little cleaner. It was okay but just a little extra attention would have made a big difference.
We had to change room due to its poor condition. Corridors damp and smelt terribly. Extreme noise from the neighbouring rooms and could hear people talking all night. Not suitable for stay with family and needs an overall urgent refurbishment.
Friendly staff and clean room
Two single mattresses together
Liked the kingsize bed
Not fussy on the firm mattress, also pillows a bit flat , should have a couple of spare ones in cupboard, other than that was good
Would stay here again, super clean, modern room with good facilities at a very good price. Nice to have check out at 11 am.
Price, Staff, Cleanliness
good sized room quiet, excellent price x
Hotel very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Bit further out if city centre than we thought but taxis not too expensive
The distance from city centre
Location and the beauty of the building with access to public transport.
The heater in the room needs urgent action. While the toilet and bath needs renovation to meet up with value for money.
The bed amazing great room
Bathroom was dirty and mould on tiles staff wasn't about to answer conplaints or issues
The position of the hotel was great right next to the motorway to both reach and leave. We were unlucky one of our party was ill and the hotel staff were very acomidating saying they would help with anything if needed whilst he stayed in after myself and the other party member headed off for work. The size of the room were also great.
Nice & helpful staff, comfortable bed, quiet room, good WiFi
The washbasin was clogged; bad location, just a few rare buses to the city centre
Ease of Parking Clean room Good value food in pub next door
The hotel was very shabby and dirty, dusty, hair balls on carpet and so much mildew in bathroom, which is bearable if the hotel room wasn't so overpriced for what it was. My main issue was the many flea bites my elder son sustained from the fold down camp bed. :-(
shower good plenty of towels
on ground floor floorboards above very thin ... could hear guests walking around most of the night ... maybe opt for the top floor in future .
next to pub on bus route
comfort or noise from other rooms very shallow walls
Smokey rooms, paper-thin walls, no breakfast included
Great greeting at reception, comfortable clean room. Did not realisle it was an old Premier Inn. Will definitely stop there when next in the area and hopefully get to try the food in the pub
staff were great, room was nice and big for a family room which makes a welcome change!
perhaps use a nicer smelling cleaning product, bit bleachy...
there was no issues
Comforr £9 into Manc city centre in a taxi booked by hotel It was £16 back from town at 2am but we did use a black cab
