The position is excellent and though set back and quiet, it is right next to a large Tesco and the M62 junction, at one end of a pleasant village with a lovely park and several eateries and within a few minutes walk of the Metrolink station which takes you right into the centre of Manchester. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and the breakfast plentiful andwith more than adequate choice. There is a freephone to call a taxi and free wi-fi for half an hour a day.

Coming from abroad to visit friends and family, we felt the lack of any kind of telephone facilities to be a big disadvantage.

Hotel was ideal for the purpose of my journey. Very clean and comfortable with very friendly staff.

- Comfortable, warm beds. - Lovely breakfast and nice restaurant. - Quiet at night.

- No toilet paper. Had to ask for some. - No extra pillows available at reception, even though cards are left in bedroom advertising them. - No decaf coffee in room - don't want a caffeine drink before bed!

Staff as always. Very helpful

Try and get a car park facing room as lots of traffic noise when in rooms at rear.

Very friendly staff, everything you needed was there, staff rang us a taxi and let us check in early

The location was very convenient for tram route to Manchester or Bury, for family living nearby and retailers next door such as Tesco also tgif and Costa

1.The bed mattresses were worn dipped and uncomfortable. 2.Bathroom sink plug just jammed so we couldnt use it. Better to have one mixer tap. 3.Very budget basic. 4. I can NEVER get the advertised rates such as £19 and £29 rooms, even city centre ones were cheaper. I would not have stayed except that it was very close to family. 5. No attended receptionist on the day we arrived. Staff were in the back room having a discussion! 6. Your advertised breakfast way too expensive for budget hotel . Went to Tesco.

-location is a far from city center but there is a good connection through metrolink station

The friendlyness and willingness to help

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was full but we were not disturbed by any noise. It was clean and is well placed for going to the city or trafford centre. Our second time staying here and would stay again.

Room clean could of been done quicker but the hotel was full.

Staff were extremely helpful despite all their computers being 'down'...which made their job particularly difficult. We had booked breakfast at TGI Fridays, there was a problem because of the computer network but this was efficiently sorted by Hotel staff.

We were not pleased at all with our stay at that hotel. The bathroom smelled very much and the receptionist was very rude. Even discriminating and price was too high for what we got. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody

The whole time I was there the wifi did not work despite posters everywhere promoting it. Staff kept saying it had to be rebooted. A very big inconvenIence.
