Very comfy bed and excellent breakfast. Very quiet despite being next to motorway. Good location for Sherwood Forest. Clean rooms and very helpful staff.

The staff both booking the stay and at the Inn were excellent and very friendly. The meal we had and the breakfast were excellent value for money.

We were advised that the childrens menu was not available until 1430 hours. This required us to purchase an adults for meal for a small child which was dissapointing

Only one reception staff taking a major block booking on arrival so took 15 mins before were seen to check in @ 9.45pm. clump of hair in main bed on arrival toilets in restaurant unclean or being cleaned during breakfast

I liked the fact that it was close to m1 juct 28. Brewers Fayre was next door to eat.

The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were good, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast staff and buffet were brilliant. A special mention to Geraldine the receptionist, she was warm, welcoming, professional and friendly, a credit to your company.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Family joined us for meals in the restaurant which was great. Good shopping at McArthur Glen. Close to A38 and all the other tourist places.

It was so welcoming and clean- the food was brilliant also

Location

The food in the restaurant was ver disapointing. We had to remind them about drinks, the meal wasnt complete when it arrived another plate bringing part of the meal. The wait for the sweet ice cream was far longer than it should be. I dont accept young children running and screaming at each other when food is being served or when you are trying to have a conversation. If we were to stay at this location again we would probably eat elsewhere unless there was an area where you can eat with a little bit of peace.

I was disturbed on the first night at 6am by the people staying in the room above mine. I was also disturbed at 1am on the second night by someone knocking on my door and running away. Not the best 2 nights of my travels.
