What's not to like about this hotel?! Myself and my cousin stayed here for the weekend as we had a wedding close by. We checked in on Friday 12th Sept with a lovely lady named Katy who couldn't do enough for us. Our room was very clean and had everything we would need. The bed was super comfortable and although it's close to a main road we didn't hear any traffic, noise etc. Its a shame we didn't try the food from the restaurant attached to the hotel but there is a McDonald's right across the road! Perfect weekend, we'll be coming back!
The staff were helpful and pleasant
Nothing was to much trouble, early check inn as we where at a wedding, taxie ordered for us by reception. Lovely breakfast
We really liked the fact that although we booked online, a real person (Natalie) rang us up in advance to check what we wanted from our stay. I was able to explain that we had booked a family room because our daughter, although adult age, has learning difficulties and needs to stay with us, rather than having her own room in, perhaps, another part of the hotel. The receptionist was also extremely helpful, and the staff in the restaurant were cheerful too.
Nothing to say here.
Good all round.
Reception Staff were very helpful. Room was comfortable and clean . Bar staff and restaurant staff were top notch.
Just minor item. A glass of white wine I was given was served in a warm glass. probably straight out of the glass washer
All good really.
more ventilation in room required
The new bed was amazing, clean, comfortable with staff who are willing to go the extra mile. Great location for business as well.
Wifi didn't work but gave me a refund no questions
The reception staff and Amy in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent.
At dinner, my sirloin steak was thin, overdone and tough. This was a pity because everything else was very good.
Quiet location as it's not in a town, so perfect with a baby. Comfortable, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Some nice items on new tabletable menu.
Young, inexperienced staff at breakfast. Tried but lack of experience (or training?) showed. Public toilets were dreadful - Men's toilets were blocked with waste and husband had to use our room bathroom instead.
The room and bed
The distance from Town
Staff very polite & helpful, Food is very good, comfortable bed.
Choose a pillow - hard or soft - no hard - all too soft and wrap around your head when you lie on them.
Extra tea bags and milk when requested. Easy booking for evening meals/ Breakfast served on Saturday morning was the best of the weekend.
Unfortunately we had room 24 and although i am a heavy sleeper my husband is not and the generator noise kept him awake part of the night. We could have closed the window but it was a warm weekend.
Some of the evening meals ie the prawn cocktail sauce was uneatable
We rated location down as we thought we would be nearer Market Harborough. Luckily we had a car so did not affect us badly but we thought we would breaking onto town.
Nothing as we had a car for transport.
the restaurant team were very courteous to prepare special meals for my break fast going out of the way to help me be happy
Lighting in the room is low. Need to improve.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, particularly the young lady on duty on Tuesday evening/night
The Macdonalds across the road - but that is not the fault of the Premier group !
Staff were very pleasant
I booked a disability room and it was awful. It had the smell of a old age home and made us feel very uncomfortable. as we were only staying one night we put up with it but the room needs updating urgently.
Staff were great. room was very clean and quiet
Friendly, helpful staff.Plenty of parking at Hotel.
Little background noise with the bedroom window open
the hotel are staff were fab
The restaurant next door was very poor The food was awful and bad service To top it all ,i saw some kitchen staff wonder over to reception in the hotel for a knatter with dirty clothes whilst on shift
Helpful staff ordered a taxi for me.
Your location web link was wrong and when I entered it into my sat nav it send me to a field !!! I then rang the hotel for instructions and no one answered the phone until my third attempt. I felt most frustrated since I needed to arrive on time because I was due to go to a wedding.
Really lovely helpful staff.
Air conditioning would be much appreciated. The building holds a lot of heat and for reasons of safety the windows can't be opened very far so it is very difficult to get the bedroom to cool off even when it is relatively cool outside. Also I am averse to relentless music TV etc in the sitting and dining areas of the restaurant though I know that many people welcome this. The staff however were very good about lowering the volume when I asked.
food very good
rooms very warm no air conditioning, windows only open a jar
