Greeting by the gent at reception, was very friendly. Large, clean & quiet room, with quite basic, but well thought out & quality fittings, eg bed, quilt & towels. Service at the restaurant on-site was also very welcoming, & breakfast was plentiful & varied (full b´fast option). Easy access to Leicester or a14. The room heater was a bit weak & ´didnt seem to work properly, otherwise everything was great, can recommend it.

My wife is disabled and we found the automatic main doors very handy and the facilities in the room very good, the restaurant was also very good with good service and choice of food. There was hardly any traffic noise despite being situated near to a busy roundabout the staff were all very helpfull and friendly

The staff on reception were very very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an absolute disaster. We were left waiting to be seated for at least five minutes. There were no bowls, no cups, orange juice or hot water at the buffet. The staff were obviously rushed off their feet. We were rushed to place an order for cooked breakfast. When it arrived it was completely under cooked, not cooked to order as advertised. It was not a good experience at all....sorry! Maybe if there had been more staff it would have been better.

Except for room and comford NOTHING . The Breakfast was so discusting . Hot water fro pump action container Cold, BAD TASTE. Whwn we asked for a tea pot to have a fresh cup of tea we got to Mugs of discusting water tastes ( from Costa coffeee machine ! Scrambeled eggs and poached were terrible ( our conclusion was Hard boiled eggs re heated!) . the one girl on the service that day showed no concern to our dislikes of this Tastless englich breakfast! I suggest you give more value than is showed in your room Breakfast suggestions leaflet .

The lady on reception was lovely. She was very helpful and friendly. We also liked that the restaurant was adjoined to the hotel meaning we didn't have to go out in the rain. The room was very clean and of a high standard. The waitress at the restaurant was a bit impatient and could have done with working on her customer service skills. In the morning we decided to use the restaurant for breakfast only to find out it finished at half 10, so it was a bit disappointing that it didn't say anywhere what time it finished at.

The friendliness of all the staff was outstanding. I was there to await the birth of my grandson with which there were complications and took longer than expected. Anita on reception was particulary amazing. Always finding time to talk and ask how things were going. She genuingly became a very good friend. Everyone was so kind and friendly and I never felt as if I was actually alone.

Nice friendly staff clean rooms and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a budget hotel. I usually stay at another hotel in the town which is more expensive and the food inferior (breakfast) the only plus being it is right in the middle of town and I can walk most places. Food for thought! Location a bit remote from town
