Absolutely everything!! The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The history and character it offers, the stunning views from every corner, the incredible food served at dinner and breakfast, the lovely drinks served in the cocktail bar along with every single member of staff that were so welcoming, polite and helpful in every way possible. We had the the most incredible room, perfect beyond words to the point I didn’t actually want to go home (and I love being at home)
The stay was a surprise for my partner’s Birthday and to say the staff made it absolutely perfect with beautiful chocolates and a hand written card on arrival in our room and again more beautiful chocolates served to us after our meal is an understatement…there are not enough words for both of us to say how much this meant to us.
Set in Marlow, Prince of Wales Marlow features accommodation with a flat-screen TV. Complimentary WiFi is featured.

nice place above the pub but with a separate entrance. Good location 2 minutes off the high street and plenty of parking. the pub was busy when we went to bed but there were no noise issues (I think it was a live band playing)
Boasting a bar and free WiFi, The Chequers Marlow is situated in Marlow. British cuisine is served at the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Marlow is a great town with interesting shops and a great selection of places to eat. As it is on the Thames there are lovely walks along the river and even a place to rent small boats by the hour. We especially enjoyed The Ivy and the delicatessen/coffee shop. The Two Brewers pub had a great atmosphere and good food.

Picturesque town on banks of river Thames.
Picturesque town on banks of river Thames. Pretty high street. Lots of choice for shopping and cafes/restaurants. Lovely walks in several directions and along with many eateries being dog friendly, it makes for a great place to bring your dog. The only down side was the large number of huge cars which made the drive over the bridge a bit slow due to these cars having issues getting through the width restrictions.

Lovely little waterside town with loads and loads of different places to eat & drink.
Lots of parking and some beautiful riverside walks to help build an appetite or walk off food.
We ate at the The Hand & Flowers and it was well worth the trip. Yes it is pricey to eat there, but we went for the fixed menu lunch which was amazing. Highly recommended for that special occasion.
It was our first visit and we will be back.

Marlow is a beautiful town, and would always recommend a visit at least once, in a lifetime. We have been visiting the Compleat Angler for 12 years, and overall recommend a stay. There is a possibility that if you return, your next stay may not be the same as the last.

Beautiful town on the banks of the Thames.
Beautiful town on the banks of the Thames. Lovely mix of town centre shops, pubs and eateries. Also comes with a large park area with pleasant walks along the river. Close to the M4 and M40 but you feel no where near the commuter highways
We were received by Tina on our arrival. Our first experience of a boutique hotel. Very slick! Room was cosy and clean. Good coffee & tea facilities, and snacks for the peckish. Even able to do catch-up on the TV! I liked the funky audio-visual key-code access. Crazy Fox e-mailed us several reminders of the code, so no excuse for getting it wrong! The included continental breakfast was perfect for us - Cereal, mixed fruit, proper fruit juice, yogurt, pastries, toast, spreads and hot drinks.
The location is between Beacons Field, Marlow and Henley. In the middle of nowhere and many small villages with Historical value. It's strange to get so high about a sports complex, but this place is special with its links to the Olympics and professional bodies.
The accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast. A really good atmosphere, which we will visit again and use the facilities next time.
The Chequers is a great pub in a great location with oodles of character in the middle of the High Street in Marlow.
Our room was comfortable with space to move around, although you need to mind your head on low beams and doors (that’s the character again!!).
The cooked breakfast was brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It is hard to fault the place based on our 2-night stay.
The room was very nice, could have done with a mirror though, very large in barn across the road, very comfy bed, breakfast was excellent, limited choice, but put a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels to shame in terms of freshness, and presntation, all the staff very, very pleasant.
The hotel is in a excellent location with Complementary parking. The room was generally clean and spacious with a small balcony overlooking Marlow Weir, it was nice to have a Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules. The breakfast was ok, but could have been better.
Lovely hotel. Good breakfast. The lady playing the piano in the bar was absolutely fantastic. Hope she is a regular booking. I would definitely go back to see her again. The pool was nice. The bed was so comfortable, probably one of the best we have slept in.
Perfect location for Marlow. A short walk to the town and similar to Marlow Locke . The staff were exceptional including the hosts. We will happily go back to the Prince of Wales and use it as a base for sightseeing in surrounding areas
I had booked a room for my parents as part of our menu tasting experience for our upcoming wedding at The Compleat Angler. The staff made sure that we were well looked after from start to finish, the room upgrade was really appreciated!
Perfect romantic getaway. Situated right on the river, our room looked out onto the weir towards the town. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and reception staff and manager couldn't have been more helpful.
The room and property far exceeded expectations and made the last day of our England vacation wonderful. Loved the ambiance of the room and property and especially all the little details.
Loved the staff, friendly and helpful. Loved the location, waking distance to everything in Marlow. Breakfast cooked to order. Nice selection of local beer. Nice bathroom and shower.
This place is amazing itnrates as the best hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at some of the most prestigious hotels in the world .....this rates up ther with the best
Overall, what i expected of the hotel because work colleagues told me about it. Rooms OK, a bit dated but OK. Hot water, plenty of pressure. Clean. Good breakfast.
Very good value for money paid. Evening meal and breakfast included in the price excellent .
Room basic but clean and comfortable.
I would recommend this hotel
Whole thing was lovely. The atmosphere at the hotel is refined and relaxed. The staff were extremely helpful from the minute we arrived until we said goodbye.
Staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was very nice too. Hotel has real character and was very well presented for such a historic building.
