We always stay at Premier Inn, Pentrebach as it is an ideal location for visiting family. It is also very friendly, efficient and good value for money. We also like the restaurant which is convenient and good value for money.
Staff were lovely Beds comfy Cheaper than Cardiff hotels on rugby weekend!
Room hot overnight even in nov.
Bedrooms spotless & comfy. Great location. Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff.
Having to go home.
All of it
Very pleasant, knowledgable and helpful staff. Lindsey and Claire were brilliant! Allowed us to check in and even use the drying room for wet clothes after mountain biking. Good value meal deals and free breakfast for children at adjoining pub
No issues at all
Staff were helpful. Restaurant was a fair walk but did the job.
There had been a lot of tradesmen staying at this hotel for various infrastructure projects in Merthyr. Our room had been smoked in probably more than once and the odour was not nice.
Clean and tidy
1st night slight noise second night big disturbed sleep
Clean and tidy, lovely staff..
Bed uncomfortable and too short. Noise from the hallway was loud and annoying as people gathered outside before going out. Unsettling..
building works to restaurant
Apart from the accommodation being extremely excellent value for money your team of staff were so very helpful, friendly and truly could not do enough for my mother and myself, we truly appreciated absoluteley everything and would thoroughly recommend. The staff in your restaurant were excellent and the food superb. Thank you
The service was excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The bed itself was comfortable but the duvet was far too thick and heavy. The breakfast was excellent although we were charged for two breakfasts even though one of us only had cereal.
A little bit difficult to find in the dark. Had to make two phone calls before finding how to enter from main road. The duvet was much too thick and heavy and therefore we didn't have a good night's sleep.
nothing, I was too upset.
My experience was a disaster when only one room had been booked their end while I had confirmation of two rooms. I was told ,to have the second room I would have to pay £94 extra. What a disgrace!
●Clean fresh bed sheets. ●Very comfortable bed ●Reasonably good Value.
●Shower attached to the wall (i.e. not manoeuvrable), and the water pressure was poor. ●Fan guard (on supplied fan) fell off during the night. Could have been dangerous.
The staff went out of their way advising me before I arrived on the route from the station and even drawing me a map at the hotel to show me how to get to where I was working. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable and breakfast excellent.
As usual with Premier Inn no toiletries in the bathroom. And there was noise from above because of creaking floors. But otherwise no complaints.
The friendly and efficient staff.
Building work going on around the room where breakfast was served.
Ease of booking in.
Restaurant too far away. Postal code is incorrect. Hotel signs badly placed. Difficult to find
Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet. Located only a couple of miles from the leisure park and the heads of the valleys road.
Speed bumps too high even at walking space.
All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and nothing was to much trouble even with helping us with what to do and where to visit in the area and also recommending good eating establishments near by, The room was kept clean by Alicia who did an excellent job, I would like to give all the staff 10 out of 10 and would recommend this hotel to anyone
Manager and friendly helpful staff And cleanliness
Not being told about the inclusive breakfast plus 2course dinner option at time of ordering breakfast and asking about evening meal when checking in Only saw it in the room Too late
One of our most pleasant overnite hotel stays in many a year. Where do you start .. . Everything about our stay was perfect. The accommodation was pristine and the staff were the most personable, helpful and friendly we have met. I was shocked to be told that the hotel is due a refit. It was immaculate. And a huge personal ThankYou to the Manageress. You are simply the best. Many many thanks . Ray and Julie.
Beds for older children very very uncomfortable and hard.
The location and the staff were really helpful.
Food staff couldn't do enough clean good location for the rock festival
All the staff that we came in contact with were lovely and helpful
