Quietness and excellent food

We found it difficult to find the entrance

The staff were really helpful - Clair was really nice and willing to help and she was interested in us too. We really enjoyed the location and even though it was on a busy roundabout, the garden and hotel are well placed so you did not even realize it was there.

The comfort of the room,the staff on reception were very friendly and accommodating

The menu was reduced ,3 items were not available on the evening menu.At breakfast we were told there were muffins available because they hadn't been taken out the previous evening, however the cooked breakfast was first class and excellent value for money

Clair on reception was very friendly, prefessional and keen to go the extra mile.

Excellent & welcoming service at reception,very helpful. Restaurant service & food very good. Bedroom beautifully presented.

It is what you can expect from PI- comfortable bed, warm and tidy room and bathroom .

My room was next to reception- it was noisy every time.

The only criticism I had was that we were near the hall door and it was a little noisy until people finished using it and settled in their rooms

Walk to the Bar/Restaurant. Restaurant in poor decorative state. Very Dark interior. Restaurant food only midiocre apart from breakfast.

The food was great and reasonably priced. Location was good with shops within 1 mile.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, there was pubic hair left in the bath tub, dirty sink with tooth paste marks, upstairs guests were very noisy and we could hear everyone walking past the room as the floor creaked.

Price.

Duvet could have been bigger. Costly breakfast encouraging people to over endulge.

The restaurant connected with the hotel is a stone's throw away. The meals are good quality and also the staff are very helpful and polite.

The staff were very helpful, in particular I would like to mention a gentlemen, tall man think his name may have been Paul. We had a family room and both our children are very tall so the small trundle bed was very uncomfortable for my son. Paul kindly found us an additional mattress to place ontop of the trundle bed then brought us additional bedding and pillows.He was exceptionally helpful! We have stayed at this hotel before and always found the staff very friendly.

The friendlyness of your staff and the overall look of our accomodation.The staff in the eating area were very polite and helpful as well as the food being excellent.

We cannot fault this hotel at all. We were given fantastic assistance and the staff are totally wonderful. The room was spotless and contained everything we needed. There was a great dinner/breakfast deal that nobody should turn down.

The room was comfortable, the staff were polite, friendly the onsite restaurant servedOn my re a great breakfast a good vaule for money and like the premier inn staff they too were polite and friendly, on my return to Merthyr Tydfil i would consider booking again. Thank you to all that made mime and my families stay a pleasant one.

I had room 1 and whilst the room itself was good I had a troubled nights sleep due to the location of the room being next door to the reception and the noise from the reception, people walking through in the late and early hours was an issue. Not that the people were rowdy. It was simply the reception doors and banging

Friendly staff, decent rooms and reasonable prices.

The location was excellent for our needs,easy to find and a good car park. The rooms were limited in content but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, particulary as the razor point did not work. A good stay'. What happened to the very low price? We paid £62 for one night.

The hotel is well located and the staff is very helpful.

There was no lift in the hotel, which made carry the heavy luggage a bit difficult.
