The bathroom light switch was outside the bathroom. Using the switch & opening the 'across corner positioned' bathroom door then lights up the bedroom, disturbing any one who is asleep. A flexible shower hose is prefered, not a fixed spray head.
Couldn't open the windows much so was stuffy
staff were excellent
Rooms far too hot
The staff were very friendly and helpfull . The girl with the black headband and eye liner on the reception was the most friendly and helpful person I have met when arriving at a premier inn.
Location parking and staff
Massive Hike in price. But to be fair all hotels do hike it up for the Great North Run week end
location - ease of getting about
No bedding for the children and only one towel.
Car park, tidiness, and staff politeness approach
Nothing at all
The room was quiet and we were not disturbed. Breakfast was first class with a good range of items to suit all tastes.
Only Costa Coffee. This is too strong for a morning coffee however there was a single serving sashes of decaf
Staff were more than helpful Nice to have a bar in the same building with special offers on drinks Food both evening and breakfast was excellent
Why do Premier inn charge for wifi use? We stayed 2 nights for £300 and still had to pay a miserly £6.00 for wifi. Isn't about time this was offered free...
The staff at reception were very helpful and polite. They handled any request I made to a very high standard and were always available
The matress on my bed was very uncomfortable. Me and my partner both suffered from back and neck pains after sleeping here. Very unpleasant experience
We liked the location near to the Millennium and other bridges - it was very enjoyable walking alongside the river, which was within easy reach from the hotel.
We were concerned that there were lots of young men staying at the hotel and expected a lot of drunken rowdiness when they came in late at night but fortunately this did not happen and we slept well.
Great location close to the regenerated riverside and on the edge of the town centre just 10 minutes walk away. Free parking on site
Strange internal layout
Quiet, clean room, friendly staff and lovely breakfast.
No phone to reception in room.
Walking distance to City and quayside. Convenient hotel restaurant. Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Easy parking.
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff.
Price was a bit high for 1 night! £118 for triple room.
Staff were great
Bed duvet too thick so gets too hot making for a restless night. Mentioned this to desk staff but was not offered money back gaurantee of good nights sleep
Cleanliness , staff, toiletries
Noisy fan in bathroom Hole in duvet cover
Our room smelt of urine and excrement, it was grubby, the hotel was in poor condition and smelt of damp the only way you knew it was a premier inn was the colour on the beds, over hearing cleaning staff saying they wash the glasses in the bathroom sink, one member of staff how ever went above and beyond the call of duty amazing man and so greatful to him.
The whole place should not have the premier inn name
Very friendly staff
Staff were attentive and friendly - location is great
Reception area is cramped and poorly designed, lit and positioned - expensive rooms for two sharing
As usual at a Premier Inn the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly.
Staff were really good
Lovely clean spacious warm room with comfy beds and clean modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay here.
Possibly could have done with an extra/bigger lift.
