I liked the spotlessness of the accommodation, hotel and restaurant and the food, the nearness of beach towns to visit. The choices available in menu. Pleasant service, uncomplicated booking in and out

concrete view from window, but its not important, we were beside the racecourse, but that made no difference as very little sound permeates the room

Comfortable Very Clean Location

Breakfast was £9 per adult, you can get a large breakfast with a tea for £5 down the road. For almost £80 a night, you would think this was included.

Hotel only 10 minutes from town railway station being adjacent to Newton Abbot Racecourse was very quiet

Only 1 bath and hand towel for the room, soap dispenser in shower did not supply any soap. Not enough information in room (ie no information on checking out times or opening times of Beefeater restaurant

WE, my mother and I had a lovely stay at this Premier Inn and hope to come back again later in the year.

Just what you need - a comfy bed with lovely fresh white sheets, clean modern room and a bathroom that sparkled so much it looked brand new. I appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities. Parking was so easy, right outside and there's a lovely Beefeater restaurant too.

I wasn't expecting lots of facilities but 3 little things caught me out. I'd taken my own milk but, as there was no mini bar, there was no fridge to keep it in. I needed to iron my top for the conference but there was no iron and, most importantly from a security point of view, and as a woman staying alone, it would have been good to have a phone in the room so I could get through to reception at the press of just one button.These were not major issues and would not stop me staying there again.I'm just listing what would have made my stay perfect. :-)

Location. Breakfast was included in the rate but the restaurant was not attached to the main building and it was raining so you got wet when you went to eat.

No clock, no safe and no mini fridge. I would only recommend this type of accommodation to anyone who is only staying one night because the rooms are pretty basic.

i had booked through booking.com, this sullied my experience slightly as there website was not very clear on what i had booked and i also think i overpaid for my room and breakfast. the site should be clearer to assist your customers

Bath very slipply causing so much danger I had to stop cleaning service to attending. Very poor outlook onto industrial estate (Jewsions) no lockable facilities in your room for valuables very poor wardrobe space only one comfortable chair in double rooms young adults playing football around parked cars

Next to the racecourse. The purpose of the visit

The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable, it had aircon, digital TV, tea and coffee making facillities and a choice of pillows. We found the mattress very comfy and the room was spotlessly clean and fresh. There was the option of the Beefeater pub for dinner and breakfast. There is a 24 hr Tesco over the road for any bits you may need and we just picked up a snack there! All in all, staff on arrival were very friendly and we had a good Premier Inn experience.

The staff were excelent, & the room was clean.

Not enough towels for two people, the plug in the bathroom sink was broken, Only one chair but the room was for two. The lack of decent long hanging space i/e a ladies long dress would be on the floor, trousers hung by the ankle area are on the floor, we had to hang our clothes from the door hinge, ( very poor ) considering we paid £ 75 plus extra for breakfast we were a bit disappointed. One further point, a nice gesture would have been a discount for meals in the restaurant for paying guests.

Clean, nice food, very nice staff, spaciuse, on bus root into town, plenty of taxies from town centre only four pound from town to hotel, nice shopping area

Staff very helpful when we had a problem with the weather, Will certainly use Newton Abbot again.

Very polite & Helpful staff especially in the Beefeater Grandstand.

No shaver point in bathroom. Deep bath caused some difficukty in stepping in & out. Bath towels were quite rough to the touch

The matress in room 317 is appauling, a real cheap and nasty unilink mattress where you can feel every spring digging into you as you try to sleep
