Breakfast was cold and Waitress got our order wrong.
Size of room , good house keepin g and very helpful staff.
Noise at night from fresh air system very loud at times.
We found the Inn very comfort and easy to find.Staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival, and are room was ready even though we did not need it till 20.30hrs.
Found the enterance to the hotel abit confusing and differcult to get to with a husband who could not manage stairs well, and was a long walk for him.
The staff were very professional an really helpful I came in late on the Saturday evening an asked for sugar an teabags from a member of staff who was on Rob whom was on reception was polite courteous an very helpful Defiantly would stay again but will book direct with premier inn an save some pennies x
good location, easy to find and great beefeater
the beds are the most uncomfortable beds ever slept on considering their advert shows the bed
Lovely staff and very very clean
Nothing I cannot fault one thing
location. large room
windows that do not open...(..why ) fan has to stay on 24/7 noisy and of course uses electricity no electric shaver point
I liked the room decor, and the beds were very comfortable, really liked the breakfast, staff were friendly
Didn't like the fact that you couldn't open the windows, there should be free wifi, long wait in the restaurant for evening meal, was understaffed
problems with paying by debet card
Staff was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Rooms spacious and clean. Restaurant lovely. Only fault wifi should be free for whole stay other than that would highly recommend this hotel.
Paying for wifi. Pillow still to soft.
Staff very good without exception.
No shaver point (room 216). Noise insulation from floor above poor. Both my mum (room 212) and I (216) were woken by the people above who were only walking about.
Close proximity to racecourse.
Unable to open window
The room was spotless excellent,
Lack of fresh air in the bedroom.
The fact that you could walk into the Racecourse without the "getting in and getting out" trauma makes this an ideal venue if you don't want cossetting. It is sparse but you get what you pay for and at least the bed was Queen size. Only liquid soap available.
Having to cross the bridge to the Beefeater for brreakfast
Fantastic location for the Newton Abbott Races, & only 5 minutes in a taxi to the town centre.
Not enough staff on at breakfast..waited an hour for breakfast, no hot water, no cutlery..Absolute chaos..Would have thought they would have put more staff on when they know there is a race meeting on next door!!
Friendly staff, clean,quiet,good breakfast.
Being you cannot open the window to me it was a bit stuffy over night.
this was our first experience of premier inn and we would def do it again, great value for money, super friendly staff, lovely breakfast, really clean, perfect location, our little girl said its the best hotel she ever stayed in :-)
our only discomfort was the matress, you could feel the springs which made for not a great sleep, if it hadnt been for that then our stay would have been faultless.
Sealed window because normally would have open at night. And didtn want air conditioning on as noisy at nigghtime,so it was hot at nighttime
It was clean
We visited family and decided to take them to the restaurant for our evening meal unfortunately they were too busy to accommodate us. We did however find ourselves tables in the pub area so waited for a table to become free. We were told we should have booked. Shame they didn't say so at reception when we booked in. The food was another complaint. No we wouldn't stay here again. The view was not if the race course either or view was of a builders merchant.
The beds. The location. The Hotel was generally very nice, modern, and had a walkway across to the Beefeater Grill, where we had breakfast and one dinner (the food was great and brilliant service from Lizzy).
location and staff were good with just the one lapse at breakfast.
breakfast service on 1st morning - cold coffee, mutilated poached egg and whole breakfast was allowed to go cold before I gott it. It ws a busy morning but ----- !
Very comfy clean rooms. Beefeater closeby was convenient. Reception staff v friendly. Brought an iron to our room, very helpful.
Lacks charm/character throughout, but then you know what you're getting when you book a Premier Inn.
Well maintained, clean hotel with friendly staff and a Beefeater restaurant over looking Newton Abbot racecourse. Great base to explore Torquay, Dartmoor, Exeter etc
Surrounded by industrial park and a big Tesco on one side...but we were only on a short break so not an issue, plenty of countryside not far away...
that the beds at Premier Inns are predictably comfortable the staff were very pleasant and helpful excellent breakfast
would have liked some reduction for single occupancy
