location great free parking you know what to expect
Room location was very quiet.
No hairdryer in the room. Central heating blower noisy. Someone upstairs heard walking around heavily at 2am.
Good clean rooms. Breakfast good and plentiful . Reception staff friendly and restaurant good
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and tea making facilities were good.
On entering room we were hit with a bad smell - cigarette type! Too tired and too late to ask for a change of room! No hairdryer and very little soap in soap dispenser.
Value for money Comfort Customer service
Slow service in restaurant on the Friday evening need more staff Guests carrying hot drinks, including pots of tea, at breakfast up and down stairs in restaurant due to layout.
We really enjoyed our stay. Gheorge on reception was so friendly and amazing got helpful in calling a pharmacy in the middle of the night to help me get the answer to a query. His assistance was much appreciated
Only the cost I suppose. I have recently booked two more family rooms with premier inn at a lower coat to what we paid this weekend
Everything was nice except location and wifi
- far from city center - no free wifi
Excellent sleep - very quiet, extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom very clean. Very helpful room staff when we asked for extra towel.
Breakfast - there seemed to be major problems in providing a cooked breakfast within reasonable time and many were complaining. The supervisor seemed under pressure and was quite loud in directing staff who didn't respond particularly well.
Only one staff on at breakfast (day of Oxford Half Marathon so busy) Porridge was too watery
Clean & convenient, helpful staff
Too hot, chaotic at breakfast. I would not recommend the Beefeater next door for breakfast
Reception helpful, friendly and efficient
Room was very hot and stuffy. Breakfast was not great - lots of staff called in sick so staff working looked fed up and a bit overrun. The previous comments on dirty plates and dishes are accurate - every other dish and plate was wet and had bits of food on them. Not as good as other premier inns we have stayed in.
We loved the comfortable bed, pillows, duvet, super soft towels and the really friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were of top spec.
We found the duvet far too hot, we would have liked the option of a lighter weight duvet in the room as when we stayed the weather was very mild, but apart from that we have no complaints at all.
Staff were polite, friendly and very helpfull, the rooms were clean and well equiped with a comfortable bed and good size tv. We had a meal in the beefeater restaurant where the food and service was also good.
Could have been better signage for the annex, we walked through the bar from reception with cases when we could have parked the car in front of the annex had we known its location better.
The room was comfortable and clean and quiet
The distance from tbe city centre
At our prior request we were given as quiet a room as the fairly busy location could offer - so slept pretty well
The Beafeeter next door was pretty poor
the hotel was immaculate, staff very freindly & helpful, good location
my only gripe, in attached Beefeater - they could have done with more staff
Simple but clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff always with a nice smile
Pretty bad breakfast... No healthy choices
Flat screen tv on wall, room very cleanly decorated (thought had been recently done) very friendly staff.
No refrigerator No bath shampoo
Nice room, friendly and helpful reception
Too expensive and breakfast and staff at beefeater awful
Bed very comfortable
Service very slow in restaurant
The staff were very helpful, the bed very comfortable , good breakfast all in all a nice stay
No telephone in room we were on the first floor and the telephone was down stairs by the front door. A telephone in the room is pretty basic
Convenience of position. Staff polite and helpful. Clean bathroom, although we were put into a disabled room, the 'floor' of the bath was worn slippery at the shower end. Good variety of food for breakfast.
Needs a coat of paint and a bit of updating' Garden outside the restaurant needs tidying and the stream re-established. Looks a bit like a potential litter dump at present. Coffee needs checking regularly at breakfast
