Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. A clean and comfortable room with good facilities for a disabled guest. Those fiddly coat hangers.Lack of a second armchair, coffee table, and wastepaper basket.

Cheap, clean, functional room. It was really nice having a Brewsters Fayre next door. The road leading up to the hotel was pitch black when we returned late at night. A bit scary!!

Near to where our friends live. the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was having problems with the heating and air conditioning and our room was cold. The staff understood and said they were having problems with the heating in the bedrooms and refunded us once night fee.

Location was great with a beautiful sea room. The room was very clean and larger than expected for a family room. Staff were pleasant and helpful and i would have to say were thoroughly delighted with our stay-and will do it again! At breakfast there were no egg cups for my 3 yr olds boiled eggs-both mornings-very awkward to eat, and alot of food trays were empty ( muffins were not available my childrens favourite) with missing cutlery etc but i think it was down to demand. Cooked breakfast was actually really good, and staff very polite.

location, friendliness, comfort, i would say quietness but the dog walkers from the surrounding areas were noisey from about 06:00, i like to be up early anyway but prefere the piece and quiet of a dawn morning. i was belittled at the reception because i wanted to pay cash, i didnt take any cards or other ID it was a cash holiday and once the money was spent that was it, i am sure they were at the verge of turning me away, once that was sorted it was ok, Brewers fayre were very slow at clearing up the outside area it was often left in a disgusting state from 18:00 through to 07:00 the next morning. the room behind our room were some down stairs toilets and the hand dryers was making a right noise up to 11 pm, i had read this somewhere before but didnt take any notice after that it was very piecefull.

Very good standard of hotel, as always from Premier Inn. Clean, friendly staff. Wonderful dual aspect room looking out over the beach and cliffs. Restaurant was the only one in the area so was busy early evening.

Very helpful staff, the receptionist re-allocated us to a ground floor instead of 2nd floor room with no trouble and the minimum of inconvenience. I never thought to ask for ground floor and have a problem with stairs due to a leg injury. The only negative comment I have is regarding the Restaurant attached to the hotel, where we had breakfast. The food was always very good and everything available as on the menu, but the cleanliness of the crockery and cutlery was poor. Dirty mugs with dried milk and coffee in them, some of the spoons for cereal had dried on food from the previous evenings desserts and some bowls also were dirty. It was mentioned by several guests as these were not isolated incidents we were there for 5 breakfasts and had to change one or two items each day. It was very off putting and the kitchen either needs a new dishwasher or better detergent should be used.

The restaurant which was attached to the hotel was ok. There was a car park. The hotel would have been great for a family. It was an ideal location for the steam railway. We were 2 couples away for a weekend and I had chosen this hotel for its 'rooms with sea views'. When we checked in we were both given rooms with a car park view. Apparently these are the only rooms with such outlooks. The rooms were as expensive as all the others and when we complained, the receptionist said 'we dont like to use those rooms but you did book late so they are all we have'. It wasnt a last minute booking and there were other rooms available when I booked it but because we didnt want to drive round looking for accomodation we stayed.

Our room was very large and clean. Air conditioning was great too. Parked easily. The restaurant could have done with a bit of a clean, there was food on the floor. However, it was very busy.

Excellent location, friendly hotel staff. Management were awful, failed to deal with an issue we had in the bar / restaurant and went on to tell us it was our own fault anyway! When I explain to a general manager I want to make a complaint formal, the very least I expect is for this senior manager is to document my comments, this guy didn't and he waffled on and never actually dealt with our complaint! Great staff surrounded by useless management is how I see this place!
