Friendly, very well trained staff Very clean Excellent value
Reception staff were polite and very helpful
Modern and quiet hotel, clean and reasonably comfortable. Next door is a steakhouse restaurant, very convenient for all meals. Such a hotel is better than staying in some creaky old b&b.
Not really a holiday hotel but ideal for business people and those needing just one or two nights in the area.
beefeater very good
to far to walk to the sea front
Ease of check in. Clean Room and Super Clean bedding. Parking, Children's Colouring Bag and Crayons, Air Conditioning, Super Clean Towels, Tea/Coffee Facilities, comfortable beds, Clean Carpets.
Not being able to open a window although I was aware of this at the time of booking. Coffee/Tea Facilities should come with caffeine free sachets of both tea and coffee as some guests are not able to have caffeine in their diet. The reception desk were very helpful and were able to provide us with caffeine free sachets. Toilet paper was slightly understocked for a family of 4.
Cleanliness and quietness of rooms. Fact that there were quiet signs everywhere. Not being disturbed by housekeeping and option not to have room cleaned every day. Room service self service from the restaurant!!
Noisy children despite the quiet zone signs
Quick and easy check in/out, clean rooms, good tv, tea & coffee etc.
No opening on windows for fresh air.
Lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped
Found the bed rather hard and uncomfortable
When we arrived we were met with a young polite man called luke, who was very welcoming , when we arrived at our room none of the electric sockets were working so for kettle, television, hairdryer etc, so we went down to reception to report it, once again we spoke to luke who couldnt have been more helpful, sincere and efficient and genuine, he offered drinks and tea for the inconvienience whic was gratefully received after a long journey down fr leicestershire. We all had a good mights asleep and in the morning went down for breakfast where we once again saw luke who asked if qe were okay etc, we only wish rhat we could have got his surname to let you know how impressed we were for the help that he gave us which was an inconvinient situation , many thanks to him and we just hope that he is acknowledged by your staff for doing a good job of a difficult situation
Just the fact that we had no television, kettle, hairdryer etc and so were unable to charge our phones afyer a long journey
Staff could not do enough for us. We warns in advance that our daughter is in a wheelchair and the staff were brilliant about offering any assistance we felt we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very minor issue was the kettle leaked a bit in the room. Not enough tea bags or milk and no biscuits? :) one of the lifts failed to open when we reached the ground floor for about 30 seconds which felt like forever as we had our daughter with us. I told reception about the kettle and lift (it wasn't worth mentioning the tea bags).
We all slept really well - beds and pillows very comfy. Air conditioning in the room was bonus as the weather was hot. Room was spotless. We paid extra for breakfast and that was plentiful too-we couldn't eat it all!
Location - we wanted to be in Paignton for the fireworks and had to drive into town. Having said that I think there is another Inn at Goodrington. It would be nice if there was an Inn right in Paignton but that's just my personal opinion. The staff at breakfast seated us but forgot to come back to take our cooked order. My partner went off to find someone - staff were very apologetic - it was just a busy time. It was worth the wait though!
As ever, with Premier Inns, we found the Premier Inn Paignton South was very good value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming and all of our expectations were met.
Having our grandchildren (2 boys, aged 11 & 7 years) with us for the weekend, we would have preferred a Brewers Fayre restaurant rather than a Beefeater. We prefer to stay at the Premier Inn Goodrington Sands but no family rooms were available, therefore any comparisons we make are unfair on the Paignton South hotel.
Location was convenient. Easy to access parking. Staff helpful and friendly.
We did book for what we thought was the sea front hotel but it appeared we made a mistake. It wasn't perhaps clear that there are two hotels. However, we were happy where we were although it would have been more convenient at the sea front. This apart, no problems.
very helpful and obliging staff. comfortable and quiet room. ability to telephone and get through to that hotel direct to check reservation and time of check in and last food order as on walking holiday.
When made beds In morning didn't change sheets even tho son had spilt orange juice on bed.
Very close to the property we had travelled to visit Staff very helpful and breakfast very good
Mattress and pillows weren't as good as the last time I stayed at a Premier Inn
Big room clean but no frills
Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast good.
Bed very uncomfortable, did not sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities in room poor.
Booking.com reservation system which never admits it was wrong
staff were very friendly and helpful
Connected to the beefeater Grill so easy to combine lovely accommodation with a great meal. Close to beautiful beaches countryside and The Dart estuary.
The room was nice, and food and service were very good.
Service, staff on reception polite pleasant really comfortable stay
Usual high standards of cleanliness and friendly staff in the hotel.
The Beefeater restaurant was not up to the usual high standard we expected. The food was good but the service was appalling. The staff were friendly enough but we waited 1 and 1/2 hours for our food. We even joked that it was a ploy to make us drink more !!! We understand the hotel is very new, let's hope it's just new inexperienced staff !
Loved everything about this hotel from check in to leaving. Breakfasts were a real treat and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will be staying again.
