Needs serious renovation didn't live up to the Premier Inn name!
Customer service good but bathroom and shower poor
good clean room and beds food was great, good value
Staff very helpfull and food was great
Room 2 had a fan motor on the wall outside window that was irritating through the night
No local shops or access to get any supplies. Only a vending machine in reception.
friendly staff and a really warm welcome. staff did everything to make us feel welcome but the standard and ambience of the hotel was a big 'let down'. we had a complaint during our stay and it was dealt with promptly and efficiently
the hotel was dated and 'tired looking' (shabby) not up to the standard of other premier inns i have stayed at (very disappointing). I had taken most of my family there to stay for my sons wedding and felt a little embarrassed because of the standard of it. the bathroom door in our room would not close properly and therefore no privacy (though we did not mention this to staff at the time). the standard of cleanliness in the room was substandard and we did mention this to staff (eg. thick dust/dirt behind television table)
Staff excellent, friendly, efficient and welcoming. Location and food good. Bed was good, room was clean, but......
What used to be a quality hotel has not been cared for. Needs a refurbishment. Our small room, on the front was noisy from the road and directly above the smoking area. There is no air conditioning and the room temperature was never below 25C. Did not complain to the manager who may have changed rooms, as I wished to bring these comments to the attention of Premier Inn top people.
Pleasant and very friendly and helpful staff. Full selection of breakfast food even though last ones in to dine and no one in a hurry to move us on.
Room very small but adequate. Uncleaned tables in the bar area when the bar wasn't particularly busy.
rooms were comfortable and was moved without any problems after complaining after finding hair was left in the bath from the previous guest
the bath had not been cleaned properly and body hair was left in the bath
Location - conveniently located for our needs.
good all round
Good location, good facilities
Staff helpful and friendly,
Bed very very hard, duvet winter weight! Terrific noise until 10pm from children in play area. Only stopped when rain came. A notice there asking parents to please keep noise down would be good.
Friendly staff, clean room, free kids breakfasts.
That breakfast is an extra charge, slightly noisy as near a motorway.
The location, staff and the atmosphere!
Nice professional serve.
Efficiency and politeness of staff
no air conditioning, it was a hot night and with the window noise from traffic due to the motorway.otherwise no complaints
Nice staff very happy to help and friendly
Far too expensive for what you get. We paid around fifty pounds for a double bed room. We stayed one night. Tea and coffee making facilities where available but only enough for one cup each at a push with the amount of milk provided. The toilet on arrival was dirty and had urine and toilet paper in. We soon discovered that this is probably due to the fact the toilet was very temperamental with flushing. The bed was extremely uncomfortable due to it being two single beds attached in the middle so there was two mattresses next to each other both with hard piping round the edges making the centre of the bed almost painful to be on. The view from the room was of bins.
Easy to find Quick check in Fabulous breakfast Friendly staff
Smelly room Noisy Terrible view
Booked a triple room via booking.com for the 17th May 2014, detailing that there would be 2 adults and one child. As we was at a wedding at Kings Croft Hotel we requested early check in, however this wasn't possible and as a key member of the wedding party, we was unable to leave until late. On arrival we found out that the children's bed hadn't been set up and the Gentleman on - Peter didn't know where they was kept, after much tooing and foeing he found the beds are pull outs from the main bed, but there was no mattress - only the base which was the only thing they could offer. Baring in mind this was at 12:30 am with a sleepy little one, we asked for another room to be told they was fully booked. We ended up taking a refund and making the 2 hour journey home. Definately wouldn't recommend staying here!
Lovely Premier Inn.Located close to Motorway but in a lovely area.Excellent food in restaurant and friendly helpful staff.
Nothing to dislike at all.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Could do with more coffee, tea etc. in the room and a lick of paint would be a good thing. Other than that, I don't think much can be done to improve the hotel.
Clean and tidy
The shower was too low and only really useful for someone below 5 feet. The bed was extremely hard and the bathroom door had been recently painted which didn't allow it to close. Only 2 plugs
The bed was so uncomfortable that we could not sleep and we we told the receptionist she just laughed and said that was unusual
Room large comfortable staff friendly an helpfull. Would stay again
Nothing to dislike.
