Errrrrm... The staff booked us a taxi.
Being used for staff training during check in when we were clearly in a rush. Maze of damp smelling corridors and stairwells leading to the room, which was a double but we booked a family room. so good thing the kids had stayed at home. The hairdryer didn't work. The shower head & holder were incompatible with no adjustment, so you had to hold the shower head in your hand. The whole place could do with a lick of paint and some TLC. Will not stay here again.
Booked on line from motorway services 1 mile away so I was there within 5 minutes. They already had my booking and were expecting me. Also top marks to booking.com for that, of course! Very friendly, very comfortable and excellent value.
Something of no import at all to female guests but the toilet seat would not stay up for a gentleman's convenience!
Friendly staff, good variety of beers & lagers.
Food was quick but not very nice
THE SIZE OF THE ROOM AND COMFORT OF THE BED.
THE WHOLE HOTEL IS IN NEED OF A REFURBISHMENT, OUR BATHROOM WAS CLEAN BUT TIRED AND THE WALLS AND CARPETED AREAS WERE VERY DIRTY AND SHABBY. THE BREAKFAST WAS COLD, DRINKS ETC, AND THE BREAD WAS AWFUL, STALE AND VERY DRY.
A decent stop off whilst visiting the area. Staff happy to go out of their way to help and even cooked us breakfast, no questions asked, when we over slept.
Free breakfast Free Stay (But only because they screwed up our booking!)
Turned up after a 7hrs drive to find our Quad room booking had been cancelled and we were booked into a double bedroom which you could swing a cat in. My youngest had to sleep in bed with us and eldest had to sleep on a z bed which was crammed into a small space down the side of our bed!
Booked through late rooms 1 hour before arrival, was a family room but when arrived they didn't have one but kindly gave us two rooms for the same price. Never stayed before but would definitely return if needed to be in the area again. Great value and great service.
Cheap and cheerful Food in the bar is fine. It's what you would expect in this age of microwaves.
Having to ask for coffee, cups, bowls, knives, forks, spoons at breakfast. Checking out wasn't great as the receptionist had gone to clear up the restaurant after breakfast. She had offered me express check out the night before.
Food was excellent, staff were very curtious and helpful
Staff were brilliant at sorting out the problems we had Good food reasonable prices
Bed was mouldy underneath Was a mess up with checking in Rooms was damp
We stayed here as we had a wedding, at wentbridge house. Good location and good value for money. Would recommend.
Staff pleasant and friendly even when I had a problem. Food was good value and plenty of choice, especially the breakfast menu.
Bathroom shower hose broke causing the floor to be flooded. The WiFi connection was very poor.
The staff were very helpful in sorting out a couple of problems that I had. For this reason I will remember my stay.
The hotel needs a little bit of TLC.
Breakfast was good staff were brilliant near to where the wedding was place was clean
Don't know if mattress was damp as I didn't sleep as the bed felt damp bathroom around the bath shower had black damp and so did the window sills room was on bottom floor I think there must be a damp problem room was a bit mall for 2 adults and 15 year old son as his pull out bed was under a mirror by door and every time he moved he kept banging himself on mirror
Needs serious renovation didn't live up to the Premier Inn name!
Customer service good but bathroom and shower poor
Boiler out of action so consequently showering was a problem. Staff were very helpful and did all they could to alleviate the situation.
good clean room and beds food was great, good value
Staff very helpfull and food was great
Room 2 had a fan motor on the wall outside window that was irritating through the night
No local shops or access to get any supplies. Only a vending machine in reception.
friendly staff and a really warm welcome. staff did everything to make us feel welcome but the standard and ambience of the hotel was a big 'let down'. we had a complaint during our stay and it was dealt with promptly and efficiently
the hotel was dated and 'tired looking' (shabby) not up to the standard of other premier inns i have stayed at (very disappointing). I had taken most of my family there to stay for my sons wedding and felt a little embarrassed because of the standard of it. the bathroom door in our room would not close properly and therefore no privacy (though we did not mention this to staff at the time). the standard of cleanliness in the room was substandard and we did mention this to staff (eg. thick dust/dirt behind television table)
Staff excellent, friendly, efficient and welcoming. Location and food good. Bed was good, room was clean, but......
What used to be a quality hotel has not been cared for. Needs a refurbishment. Our small room, on the front was noisy from the road and directly above the smoking area. There is no air conditioning and the room temperature was never below 25C. Did not complain to the manager who may have changed rooms, as I wished to bring these comments to the attention of Premier Inn top people.
Pleasant and very friendly and helpful staff. Full selection of breakfast food even though last ones in to dine and no one in a hurry to move us on.
Room very small but adequate. Uncleaned tables in the bar area when the bar wasn't particularly busy.
rooms were comfortable and was moved without any problems after complaining after finding hair was left in the bath from the previous guest
the bath had not been cleaned properly and body hair was left in the bath
