We have stayed at Holes Bay a number of times and it is consistently very good. Excellent location too.
The reception staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful.
The night staff forgot our early morning call for the ferry. Fortunately we woke up anyway.
very helpful staff
wifi performed poorly
good location. near where we needed to be.
we weren't told before we booked that extensive construction work was in progress. we wouldn't have booked if we had known.
Very clean, spacious room and comfortable bed. Good bar and restaurant on site. Perfectly placed for catching the early morning ferry to France.
Nothing to dislike.
Being on ground floor
New beds made me feel sea sick Disruption due to building work
rooms very comfortable and warm table table restaurant was excellent place to eat.
children running up and down the corridors till late, doors banging as people returned to there rooms quite annoying.
Heating didn't work Bed was uncomfortable
Easy access from Poole centre.Nice quiet location with good parking facility. Comfortable restaurant area with very polite and friendly staff. Good breakfast choices.
Access to my disabled facility room via very long corridors.Accept this is a temporary measure during upgrade building work. Room itself was clean and comfortable but rather low quality fittings.Would have prefered a walk in shower rather than having to step up into bath even though rails were provided.
All staff promote a friendly and welcome atmosphere ,likewise the restaurant .
A good comfortable stay.
Everything fine with the exception of a stained lavatory bowl. Needs bleach down there.
Overall a very good series of stays. Generally very good accomodation across the board of general criteria. Convenient & comfortable - a good base & suitable to our needs.
Poor WiFi connectivity. Bought 3x 24 hours on arrival - no connection at all during period. Provider blamed but no resolution although I was told provider had been contacted. Half hour free sessions presented no problems. Given a refund but inconvenient & disappointing.
No ironing board or iron in room. Decoration and room decor drastically diminished in quality over the past years. Cheaper feel to the build quality. Not as previously experienced ! No lift. Had to drag luggage up stairs.....not great after an operation !
Room was fine. The bed was comfortable and a good size. Kids beds were good and clean.
The bathroom light did not work. There was a leak near the fan. The bathroom door handle was squeeky and disturbed us when anyone went durdting the night and the door stop in the bathroom was broken with a rusty nail sticking out the floor.
Friendly and helpful staff
Poor quality breakfast using very cheap produce. Not the greatest value for money at nearly £80 a night excluding breakfast and wifi.
Freindly and comfortable
No free WiFi
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb.
The hotel is currently a building site.
Room temp was set at 24.5 degrees and couldn't be changed = Too hot to sleep. I always thought I could rely on Premier, but this one was also not very clean, the parking was not great. I wouldn't stay here again.
Good value, clean.
Arrived after dark so building works made the access very confusing, temporary reception area awful, but excellent staff made up for it. Very noisy with guests returning to rooms in the early hours, walls must be paper thin.
food was hot ,service good with a smile
you asked if you wanted to use the towels again to put them back on the rail. but the three days we were there were changed each day
The room was clean and the bed lived up to their promise of a good nights sleep. the food in the restaurant was very good with an excellent choice. The full English breakfast did just that filled you up for the day ahead,
A large portacabin placed right in front of the reception doors and restaurant, hid both entrances. On checking in told that as I was paying cash I must produce my passport or driving licence. Since we were in our own country I did not have my passport, luckily I did have my old paper driving licence. We had not been told we needed to produce anything when booking. If we had been travelling by train or coach I would not have had either proof so we would haver been without accommodation.
The hotel is good value for money, the room was comfortable, but you only get 30mins free of wifi so not ideal, location is wonderful as it overlooks holesbay .staff v friendly
When you book through Booking.com they usually give you a disabled room even if you are not, but if you ask the staff they should help.
Heat in Room, uncomfortable bed, tired, dated facilities
Breakfast was fantastic very good choice
Bar prices were extortionate
