We liked having the Brewers pub which offered a wide range of dishes on the same premises so that we were able to enjoy an evening meal without having do drive anywhere. The breakfasts are superb - that was influential when we were making our booking. (We had been invited for breakfast by our daughter when she was staying there.) The car parking was deceptive. When we arrived at 7pm, we thought it was full. Perhaps clearer signing and improved lighting would help strangers to feel more confident that there were still some vacant spaces. There looked to be additional car parking space beyond the public house but we didn't see any signs to confirm this, and as we were staying overnight we didn't want to get our car clamped!!

Friendliness of staff, plenty of parking. I was with a one-legged man and although we were in a disabled room it did not have a walk-in shower unlike other Premier Inns we have stayed in. A bath is very difficult for a person with one leg to manage.

The first night we stayed was excellent the room was lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Staff could not do enough for us The second night we came back and had a different room which was a little cold and the heating did not work properly, however, the convenience after a long drive was excellent.

Parking at the hotel is very good and we received a warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist who we found to be very helpful throughout our visit. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the over all location of the hotel was very convenient for our visit. The adjoining restaurant (brewers fayre) was with all due respect very busy at the time of our visit. The service we received during our evening meal was poor with very slow service. (Breakfast also served at the brewers fayre was enjoyable and a lot more relaxed).

It was very close to family members living in Portishead so we were able to meet up with them and there were good parking facilities available. Also a restaurant on site if needed. The receptionist who booked us in was very helpful and polite.

The only gripe was the stinginess of the coffee and tea provided, only two sachets of each per night. That level of supply might work for a single occupant - assuming they are eating/drinking locally. As there were two occupants we had to go and ask for more!

Good location for walking into shops and estuary. Traffic noise despite asking for a quiet room. Would be good if on a different side of the hotel. Tap bases needed cleaning.

Lived up to expectations from our experience of the dozen or so times we have stayed in Premier Inns. Liked the selection of Real Ales (as opposed to so-called real ales). We do not like the breakfasts. You used to have a better selection. My husband likes to have cheese and/or cold meats ie. A continental breakfast. We were glad to see this time some medium-sliced wholemeal bread - an improvement on just thick-sliced. Strawberry yogurt, blueberry, and vanilla yogurt do not make a selection of yogurts. This is true for breads, jam etc. Bacon was excellent. We are willing to pay the full rate for a more varied selection.

The room was comfortable, and the facilities were excellent for a one night stay. Breakfast was delicious, and great value for with a fantastic range. There was a distinct, overwhelming smell of drains in the bathroom of my room (33).
