Score from 558 reviews Good
It was a comfortable and clean room and all the staff were very helpful. The added bonus of a restaurant and car park was great.
no free wi-fi
The staff were really first class and the room was nice and clean
The disabled bathroom - I was really looking forward to my bath and had to be dissappointed
Unfortunately we had room 102 on the side of the hotel which backs onto the A3(M). We like to have a window open at night, so the traffic was very noisy and constant through out the night
Sean was a very helpful receptionist. He recommended places to visit. He had a polite friendly mannerism.
Bed very comfy
Not a lot of room with a double bed single bed and cot bed we were stepping on each other need bigger rooms for family's.
I am disabled and cannot use a bath so the wet room in the disabled room made a big difference to having to manage with a wash basin , all Premier Inns should have similar facilities!! My carer's room was up to Premier usual good standard.
The very steep access to the restaurant from the hotel was hard work and very exposed - you could get very wet going for breakfast!
We arrived early(12.30) to check in because we were going to a wedding and this was sorted out for us we also needed a taxi to the wedding and return for us.The usual taxi service used by this premier Inn wasn't available so she did a search for us and found a taxi service
General layout Staff Location
Room 201 was rather small compared to the one occupied on previous visit. Room located on the second floor of the new building & had to be accessed via several flights of stairs - no lift available - not ideal when carrying suitcases. The eaves in the ceiling effectively reduced the size of the room.
Ther wasn't much facilities
The Overall Cleanliness of the hotel and the very friendly and welcoming staff made our stay a pleasure. We shall return.
Excellent location for ferry port
VERY poor air condition - it was like a sauna
As usual this Premier was of the same good standard as all others, no complaints there
ridiculously expensive - just short of £120 per night with breakfast
Chose this location because it was 12 minutes away from the birthday party we were invited to. Hotel was nice and room was cleaned Great food - eat as much as you like and if you go for premier breakfast your kids eat free so that was a good point.
It was a very hot night and we got very hot throughout the night. 28 degrees Celsius! Could not quite work out if the hotel had air conditioning or not. Do not think they had as the system in the room was for warming up the room and did not seem to work
rooms in the new building were a lot smaller than the premier inn family rooms we are used to and stuffy no air conditioning.
staff were lovely, beds extremely comfortable. rooms very clean. loved our stay and would recommend to all of our Australian friends.
1. Staff very friendly & helpful 2. Very comfortable 3. Very quiet in the hotel at night 4. Standard of food in restaurant 5. Room layout
It was exactly as advertised, we were very impressed, although we did think the room rate was a little expensive.
Luke, on the front desk, was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
There was nothing we didn't like.
No fresh air or air conditioning which made for a very uncomfortable night
Size of room . Ease if check in and out . Lovely staff . Clean room with lovely bed and big television . Great views
Everything, especially the friendly and helpful staff at both the hotel and the pub/restaurant.
Beds comfortable staff very helpful providing us with a sheet because of the heat
Nothing except maybe the breakfast could,'ve been warmer
Leigh on the desk was very welcoming and extreamly polite.
Had to leave to go and eat. Not very child friendly .
1. Fan in bedroom - when we belatedly stumbled on how to work it
1. No fridge 2. No instructions for fan 3. Distance from Reception to room 4. Sausages badly undercooked 5. There are other categories of visitor - for example father and son 6. Also attending a funeral is hardly business r iure
