Premier Inn Portsmouth (Port Solent East)  

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was very clean and the facillities were excellent, and the location for Portsmouth was very good.

I get emails from premier about cut rate weekend deals but they never seem to be available at the ones I use

Easy to book and check in was quick. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was more than adequate for the price paid for the room.

It was disturbing that the person above us was walking a lot in his/her room and we could hear every step (stayed up late and got up early).

The staff were very friendly & welcoming. We stayed at the Port Solent East hotel as it was close to the ferry port.

Clean and comfortable with very nice service. Breakfast was in a separate restaurant and had a lot of variety and lovely staff.

Was a bit difficult to find the entrance at night.

Room was very cold. It was a cold evening - 1 degree. Couldnt get central heating to more than 19 degrees, nor could the staff. Bar and food facilities outside of hotel, not far but still cold. My expectations of Premiern Inns was higher. It was 1 up from Travelodge but only 1.

It was extremely cold, and even if I tried to set the temperature to its maximum (which is only 23 degrees, which is still too cold for a winter night), it kept going doen to 18 degrees. You should make it possible for your customers to increase the temperature to however much they want. This has not happened only once, but several times and I will surely not come again if this is not changing. With respect to facilities, it would have been nice to have a couple more towels, I was only given one. Both the soap and shower gel/shampoo dispensers were empty.

Staff very welcoming & helpful, both at the hotel & the harbour lights restaurant. Clean & comfortable rooms cleaned every day to a high standard .

Breakfast service on the Monday morning was poor compared to the other mornings. Food was running out, plates. & mugs didn't seen to be very clean & far less staff on duty.

Staff very helpful & friendly, very clean & tidy, also very close to family who we were visiting.

2nd night of our stay was spoilt as noise in the room above us in the early hours was awful & kept us awake, but wouldn't stop me coming again.

Ideal location for taking the ferry to the Isle of Wight

I have never stayed at a premier inn before but I was very pleasantly surprised. The standard was very good having worked in hotel trade until retirement I considered the staff and general standard of the hotel very good indeed and will certainly use premier inn again.

No internet connection in the room

The heating control in my room did not work properly and I was cold. I thought it would heat up by the time I got back from a late night as it went up one degree before I left but it did not and it was too late to ask someone to help.
