Staff, breakfast, room layout, TV channel choice (Freeview). Sound-proofing from room above and from roof generators (if on the 5th) is not great. Had to move rooms both times I've stayed there so far, but staff were great about it.

All the staff were very helpful without being fussy. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I've had. The view of a car-park.... but I can't expect sea-views in Preston?

Everything was great except parking Looked on internet, looked as though there was Hotel parking (the big empty parking place you can see from the bar windows) Had to pay £12.00 in parking fees

Price and the food was decent. Reception is on 1st floor but to exit the hotel it's via ground floor. because the bill is paid in advance, the key has to be handed in at reception requiring a stop on the 1st floor just for that. Install a secured drop box on the ground floor so travelers in a rush can just drop the key in the box.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Room was tidy and clean. The electronic check in service, it felt lacked in personal services. The room service closed very early (around half 10). I arrived around that time and I had to order a take away... Not too good. The room had a slight unpleasant smell.
