Accomadation including car parking
The provision of breakfast in a separate building caused problems in respect of booking and payment and requires a more structured approach so that you only book and pay to Premier Inn or to the Chef & Brewer.
staff very friendly and helpful.
noisy fan in bathroom. sunken mattress. cobwebs in most corners of the room. only one bath towel
Breakfast starting at 8am as we had to be at work before 8
Room was clean and spacious , location was great , breakfast was beautiful all you could eat ,staff were very friendly .
Shower curtains over the bath, totally un hygienic , also found a stray hair in the sink in bathroom ,long black defiantly not mine ( short and grey) so maybe a double check just before you have finished cleaning would be good ,
We liked everything
thw warmth in the room was not at all warm infact it was cold.
All of the staff we came into contact with were very helpful.
Good location; excellent meal at the Roebuck and a superb breakfast there the following morning. Staff at Premier Inn & the Roebuck better than many 4 & 5 star hotels I have used in the past.
It was a very hot night; very little that the hotel could do about it but full marks for the provision of a fan and for offering (which we accepted) a sheet to use instead of the duvet.
the location for us was perfect
the fan in the bathroom was a little noisy but that was the only fault
Receptionist on the morning of 1st May was superb, friendly, helpful, kind. Premier Inn is now a Must Stay hotel chain for us. Especially we would like to mention Ashleigh. She was so kind. It was our wedding anniversary (32 years married) and she gave us a delightful anniversary card! Please record her contribution to the reputation of Premier Inn at the highest possible level. She deserves a bunch of flowers or some suitable token of appreciation from the UK Management Team. Best regards Lisa and Peter
The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. The location was very good, nice pub next door and the canal across the road had a couple of shops and another pub which looked very inviting. We did say to the receptionist on departure that our beds had been uncomfortable. But the rest of the room was good. I must emphaise in no way were we looking for our money back, but they insisted that if customers did not tell them there had been a problem then they would not have know and it is Premier Inn's policy to give you your money back if you were not happy. So they could not have been fairer many thanks
Beds were uncomfortable
Pleasant helpful staff on arrival Disabled bathroom equipment
Would be easier to have walk in shower in disabled room rather than bath with shower over
Nice staff very comfortable bed
Bathroom tired and stained Needs a redecoration
Location Comfort Staff
Braekfast - sausages chewy with sinew runnig through
The staff were particularly friendly and welcoming especially the young lady Lucky.
There is no fridge and only a little local information available.
It wos good so not a lot to say
The excellent mattresses always have a good nights sleep on them.
Premier Inn are getting a bit stingy with their teabags and milk.
convenience of the roebuck inn on the door step which serves very good meals
I think the 14" TV are getting a little outdated now don't u think
all very good, thanks
Postcode took me and my SatNav to a place about 6 miles away.
Useful stopover point on long journey from Essex to Cumbria; liked being able to have continental breakfast and not being forced to pay for a cooked breakfast I wouldn't want
Quite expensive for one night stopover (£71 excluding breakfast) as we only booked that day (because our journey was delayed) and we needed an overnight stop
Staff were outstanding - really friendly, welcoming and helpful Comfortable and clean Quiet location Convenient parking Family friendly
Comfortable beds Clean rooms Friendly staff in the hotel Would recommend the hotel
Breakfast at Chef and Brewer Arrived for a late breakfast at 9.50 and after upgrading to a full cooked breakfast we were told it wasn't available and had to take continental. We were sure breakfast ended at 10am so we assumed it would be available until that time.
The bed was excellent. Staff friendly.
