Wonderful canal setting and nice pub environment

I found it surprisingle expensive compared with recent visit to York

I had asked for breakfast in my room for day 2. But i was told i was told i couldnt arrange that at short notice. I was not able to sleep very well as room next door to me was noisy!!!

I liked everything in the hotel. No qualms at all.

The only snag is the busy A6 main road, which is the cause of delays to the motorway. Also, I would suggest the provision of a telephone and an iron & board in every room for convenience. Clients will surely appreciate this.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff efficient and friendly

The piub /restaurant next door appalling and detracting from your premises.I Have written to Chef and Brewer as it was a disgrace.

We were asked to pay, even though we had already paid through Booking.Com

Cleanliness, sound proof, price, plenty of space for a family, good location, liked the design of the shower curtain. Waitress at breakfast was very patient with some other awkward guests, she did very well to serve everyone considering she was serving alone.

Breakfast was not a good as expected and most hot food was overcooked. Self serve tables were very messy and toaster was not working, little choice available.Under staffing at breakfast. Shower kept going hot and cold, not good for kids. Not enough loo roll for a family of 4. Bed not long enough for my 5'11" husband. Only one receptionist to book in guests causing longer than expected wait to check in then rushed through to shorten queue. Room was cold upon arrival.

The room and the staff were great

The roe buck (brewers Fayre) the food was poor , the first meal I ordered , fish and chips , the fish was burnt to a crisp ie the batter , second night I ordered rib eye steak & salad , my steak arrived with chips and no salad , I sent it back and when it cam back with the salad on it , the salad was not fresh , I eat elsewhere the 3 remaining night I stayed

Very friendly welcome, nice big bed, clean sheets, generally a nice room

Kettle was broken and strong smell of urine coming from the bathroom

was very good for new year location, and enjoyed are stay staff was very helpful and the place was great to stay for a break

location and pubs near by

the receptionist was very friendly and extremely helpful. lovely spacious quiet rooms, very large comfortable bed. excellent hotel.

STAFF always most pleasant and helpful. Rooms very satisfactory and parking no problem.

Two trivia: The bath plug chain attachment to the bath was disconnected at the bath. The toilet seat was loose. Ten minutes with two pairs of pliers would have fixed these. It gives the impression that nobody is bothered. The area round the basin was not all that clean either

Staff were friendly & helpful.

There was no lift so we needed help with our bags.

The breakfast facilities/service at the Roebuck pub are negatively impacting the overall experience - understaffed and not tidied up from the night before. I would not prepay for breakfast again.

friendly staff always helpful very peacful area very beautiful village just 17 miles from blackpool if you want a afternoon by the seaside and then return to the quite of billsborrow good food in the pub next door a very nice stay

Delightful welcome given by the Polish receptionist. Friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room. Swift checkin and check out.

The quality of the food at the Roebuck next-door was poor. The salad leaves were very tired (some totally wilted). The cloth that the girl was using to bring out the food was filthy dirty. The menu included a "giant king prawn" which turned out to be a small crevette rose. I had to ask for a serviette and a clean knife. One glass was still wet with soap suds. For breakfast, inspite of the menu all about kellogs products and Yeo Products, there was no Special k and no plain yoghurt. I would recommend the hotel, but advise strongly against the restaurant.

Service at the the Roebuck was disappoingly poor . Having be here many times before very surprised at the decline . This would put me off staying at this Premier Inn again

The staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Pretty location.

Bedside lights are too dim for reading. It would be good if the shower head moved up and down. I wanted to avoid getting my hair wet. Little things but can be frustrating.

Very clean and welcoming. Good location and liked adjoining pub which was also food quality.

Bob at Reception was very helpfull. He gave excellent directions re-tuned our TV and nothing was too much trouble, he made it the best Premier inn stay that I have stayed in. Breakfast was also excellent , wide choice and again the staff were veery friendly and helpfull.

We stayed in room 1. The staff were very friendly and the room comfortable and of a generally good standard.

For a recently refubished bathroom (this you could see as it had not been finished properly) it could have been cleaner. Hair and soap marks on the tiles.

Our stay was because of location & price as my daughter was taking an British Horse Society exam at the very nearby Myerscough College. We needed 2 rooms at a reasonable price for a fast get away next morning. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean & had all we needed. Staff were very friendly & helpful.One of our party had the full all you can eat buffet breakfast & 2 had the continental. All excellent value for money.We had dinner before our nights stay at the attached pub . Choosing the 2 courses for £9.95 option which was excellent value for money.Serving staff here were also excellent. Overall a very successful stay, which we recommend highly. Staying here again would be a pleasure

No complaints

An ideal location to visit the Forest of Bowland and nearby Lancaster Canal. The friendly and helpful staff, especially Bob on reception who made our stay even more enjoyable. We would certainly recommend this budget hotel to our friends who wished to visit this area.

Location excellent for motorway access and reception staff very helpful.

All very basic- and annoying to not even have soap in bathroom. Breakfast horrible - had to fish to find clean cereal bowl, waiter wearing dirty shirt and trousers, bacon undercooked and nasty plastic mats everywhere. For our second night in the area I used booking.com and found a room at the Mercure Fairfield Manor outside York for £10 more and in a completely different league.

Excellent room & extremely pleasant staff!!!!! They had stopped serving breakfast an hour earlier than usual, but could not explain why, but did give a full refund on breakfast
