The bed was superb lovely and big.
The room smelled like an old peoples home especially the bathroom. Looked clean but unpleasant smell. Couldn't change as no other room available
Close to Reading rail station. Short trip to London Heathrow Windsor and Basingstoke if you fancy that!
Google would have you believe its by the fun and frolic . It isnt. Took a while on a dark windy wet night to convince ourselves of that.
Nice room, convenient location
Receptionist had great trouble finding the booking I made of a second room for a friend; and allowed a que to develop rather than calling for assistance.
The staff were super helpful, lots of parking places, close to town and a great made to order breakfast.
being asked to pay for the wifi, most places give it for free.
All staff very helpful and pleasant particularly in the restaurant in the morning
The lights from the Toby carvery light up the bedrooms all night which is not good
Friendly staff, ample parking with easy access and double carpark, clean comfortable rooms. The welcome you get as soon as you walk into the hotel on arrival from reception staff is fantastic. Reccommend everyone to stay here
My only critticism is the rooms are a bit hot and stuffy over night, even with the window open
The location of the Premier Inn, very close to Caversham and Reading. The staff were excellent, very friendly and welcoming, infact I couldnt fault it in any way. Would certainly stay here again.
The staff were very attentive. Bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was a little pricey considering you could get it cheaper at the Toby Carvery next door.
No phone in room
Friendly & helpful staff
Rather too expensive @ £65 per night. Plenty of premier Inns charge far less then this one.
Reception was really upbeat and helpful and the room was quiet and very comfortable with a great view of the Thanes. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. A very good experience. We walked down the road for an excellent evening meal at the Standard Tandoori.
Parking is a bit tight at times as the hotel shares parking with a Toby Inn.
Comfort Location Friendly and knowlegable staff
Cost of the breakfast Stickers on items in the room
arFF WERE VERY ATTENTATIVE AND HELPFUL
Got fans great but noisey. Breakfast was good. Bed comfy.
Rooms far to warm. Toaster needs sorting. Shower needs updating.
Friendliness of staff. Clean and comfortable.
Room very cramped with extra beds. Very warm.
Couldn't fault a thing about this hotel. Can't comment on the food as we ate in the adjacent Toby Carvery
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
Friendly efficient staff. Very clean and tidy. Good facilities. Good breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, bed was comfortable.
No a/c - they had provided fans in the rooms but they made little difference to the heat. Room was small - even compared to other Premier Inns Overpriced for what was provided
value for money, cleanliness, excellent staff, breakfast service was carried out very efficiently
No bar service - Couldn't get a drink on our return at 11.30pm. After paying for our breakfast at check in at £8.99 p/p , I walked across the car park to the Toby Inn to be faced with an advertisement for breakfast at £4.99 p/p. I think that it was a similar all you can eat deal so feel slightly misled?
Lovely location, and breakfast
good location close to Henley . easy to find
would have been better with air con. most premier inns I have been to lately have had air con and that should come as standard
The hotel was in good quiet location but still accessible to Reading. Local area had good shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was spotlessly cleaned with clean linen and towels. Had a problem at check in but was resolved politely
Couldn`t settle our bill by cash as we did not have any acceptable ID on us.Was not made aware of this policy by either www.Booking.com or the hotel itself which I emailed twice before our arrival and made it clear that the bill would be settled by cash. I was told that by paying cash, my husband and I posed a security risk! Never heard of anything so pathetic when you can`t use you own currency in your own country to settle a bill. Just Crazy!!!
Good location, friendly and very helpful staff, beds to die for, want one at home.
The location was ideal for the weekend and attending a local event
The noise created by a delivery either for the hotel or the adjacent Toby Carvery early on the Monday morning was unacceptable. The refrigerated lorry sat in a delivery gap for at least an hour. The guarantee is for a good nights sleep until 7am however, someone forgot the self closing doors that bang as clients leave their rooms.
