Being lied to regarding breakfast on our second nights stay, we were told it would be available (as the venue had been closed for refurb) and you reception staff even took payment and told us the opening times for it only to go across and have a builder laugh at us when we went across for breakfast! totally unacceptable and it even took the receptionist over 10 minutes to give me a refund!

This time I was disappointed with my stay. The cost was £71.25 which is quite expensive considering they advertise from £29. The booking confirmation stated that due to refurbishment the restaurant was closed but I would be supplied with a boxed breakfast. After a poor nights sleep because my room was No1 on the ground floor and I not only had people chatting as they passed down the corridor but there was the traffic noise from the main road outside. On asking for my breakfast box I was told there wasn't any and the receptionist could not get a reply from the manager. I therefore had to walk around to find somewhere to get a few rolls and ham. On checking out there was still no news regarding the missing breakfast box. I also e-mailed my complaint to the Premier in. Had I paid £29 for the room I would have been happy to pay for my breakfast.But at £71.25 the room the room and service was overpriced.

The restaurant was undergoing refurbishment so no food available. We had been allocated a 'disabled access' room with extremely low bed and bathroom facilities. Quite expensive for the area and almost 3 times advertised 'from price'.. Would avoid in future

As a disabled person I would have liked a room with a shower as I cannot get in or out of a bath without assistance. Also a shower head that is flexible up and down so you can choose whether you get your face and hair wet.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming

The free parking and the lack of hassle getting extra tea/coffee & milk. Surprised at how quiet it was despite being so close to a very busy main road.

The breakfast in the Moby dick next door. Poor excuse given for no bacon.

They charged me more than my confirmation from booking.com , despite me showing the confirmation it was pay the increased rate or not have the rooms. The receptionist was rude and checked us in like we were appearing at a police station. ( not that i know what it would be like) - had called premier travel inn and was asked to email them - of which ive done twice and no response - very very poor customer service indeed

Friendly staff, good connections with London City and fantastic rooms!! Breakfast was fantastic too. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Unfortunately what should have been hot water was only lukewarm.

The food in the pub next door was very poor,and the service was crap dinning as a couple i found myself eating on my own whilst my partner lined up waiting for some veg to go with a pie. disgusting

Old, tired and in need of a major re-vamp. No lift. No room service. Only available restaurant the food was very poor and breakfast was awful - a few old bits of fruit, hot food that had been sitting there for hours, toaster that burnt toast, nothing freshly cooked.
