Clean and comfortable room breakfast was nice Staff very polite
Car park used by pub shop and club so hard for guests to get space in evening. room was small for family room had to move furniture for travel cot. Meant to sleep 4 with a pull out bed, this would work but with no floor space left to walk. Noise of room above, we went to bed early with toddlers stomping of persons above was loud and irritating. Paid £174 for 2 nights chose for convenience, so certainly not budget great for offers but for full price would expect more space in room (used pastures nearby before which is spacious and a 9 out of 10). This I would give 7.5 out of 10 as price premium above room value. Not hotels fault but on arrival parked next to van in car park with males smoking cannabis whilst we unloading with young children!
Friendly, helpful staff especially reception but also including cleaners and restaurant staff
Elizabeth on reception was very helpful and extremely cheerful..
Concrete mixer going round and round on building site outside our window, it was a Sunday morning!!
A pleasant overnight stop
Plenty of space for a wheelchair in the disabled room and bathroom area. Lots of strategically placed grab handles.
Denied access to the restaurant from inside because no lift/ disability access inside. Arguably more important for disabled guests to have internal access rather than able bodied guests. We got soaked in the rain!
Very comfortable bed, large room
The room was very hot, despite opening window. It was 24.5 degrees, it wasn't an overally hot day. My baby didn't sleep all night due to this.
Did what it said on the tin
Too hot at night...regulator needs turning down 5 degrees
Friendly and helpful staff, book taxi for us and help to find the social hall we were looking for. Good food and plenty of it
Narrow stair up to 3rd floor (no lift)
Have stayed there often as close to relatives. Always clean and ability to access restaurant without going outside is a plus. Large comfy bed. A hugh room.
Not a lot of hanging space. Otherwise nothing to dislike about the place, we will use it again.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful Room facilities very good Evening meal at Becks was excellent as was the staff member Mark Great to use a Gideon Bible in the room
Accessible room allocation was some distance from the reception area and the absence of a settee was noted.
The staff are very friendly and courteous. The rooms good and breakfast perfect. I will go back next time I'm in Rotherham.
Some neighbour woke us up around 0700. Sounded like they were exercising in the room. Loud footstep noise went on for about 20min. Not nice since we had gone to bed late. Well solved by the lady on duty anyway.
Everything ,facilities as good as a 4* hotel at budget prices
We stayed here for my 50th birthday party which was held at the Brecks Beefeater right next door, couldn't have been a better location. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent all you can eat and kids went free.
The room was very hot, there was a fan but the whole building was very warm which didn't make it very comfortable for sleeping.
staff were excellent nothing was a problem. very polite and proffesional.
It was much too hot for comfortable sleep. The outside temperature was 13 Celsius in the middle of the night while the bedroom was 24.5 Celsius and this was with the window open and the pedestal fan on. Maybe Lenny Henry likes it that way. We do not.
Thought it was a little pricey to sleep the night and the food wasn't brilliant in the pub
Close to a supermarket and ATM. Near the highway
Dont serve food in the rooms. Meals too expensive
Cleanliness & reception staff were the positives.
Noisy / faulty bathroom extractor was the cause of a poor sleep. Continental breakfast overall was very poor value - coffee was weak and tepid.
- The environment and location
- Very noisy - Room was not clean on Saturday - Night staff was not helpful after complain - Bed sheet smelled of disinfectant spray
the beds were comfortable
the price it cost to stay in the premier inn and I was charged for my 2 children when it stated kids stay free.
Close to facilities and local shops and restaurants.
12 noon checkout. Superb cleanliness. Brewers Fayre very good for dinner & excellent breakfast.
Hot room despite being provided with Pedestal fan & we brought 2 fans of our own. Need expellair fan &/or fully opening window. Staff are told to quote health & safety as reason but do our homes have restricted window openings???? Just put restrictors in IF child/ren are below 6 or 7 years.
