Ideal location for the SHow that we saw at the Arena Unfortunately our room was opposite lift and stairs so was very noisy with people coming and going in to the early hours. Also, workmen started work outside our window very early in the morning. To the credit of Reception staff we were offered a complete refund of the room cost. I would definately stay again but not in that room.

Comfy bed. Clean room . Friendly helpful staff. No lunch available. Room smelt slightly of old tobacco. Easy to hear people in the room above.

The female receptionist was most friendly and I genuinely felt welcome. Breakfast was good with good service. The room heating was easy to adjust with clear instructions. I don't think the room had been used recently, and there was a distinct smell of drains coming from the bathroom; nothing which couldn't be put right by running the cold taps for a miinute or two, but I didn't feel that should have been my job after a long journey.

Perfect location to stay for shows and gigs in the Arena itself. Hotel vbusy but quiet at night and check in staff were very helpful. Room a bit chilly and heater on a short burst timer/thermostate. Not the best choice of tv channels and a tempremental remote but all just minor niggles. More than satisfied overall.

I did not appreciate the evident shortage of staff - one person for bar and reception and waiter resulting in slow delivery of services

Great location for a trip to the Arena. Good facilities. Friendly staff. One receptionist asked my Partner if I was expecting him (due to work commitments we had to arrive separately. Thought it was a strange question as we had double room booked. Then proceeded to ring me to tell me 'my man' had arrived in reception!!

Ideal location for us. The hotel staff and service was excellent. A very enjoyable stay. On arrival we had booked a disabled room, and the hotel staff kindly changed our booking without any hesitation.

Its location near to the sheffield arena. The food served at the hotel restaurant- what was stated on the menu did not appear on the plate (a nan bread was replaced with a single piece of garlic bread) accompannied by "didnt anybody tell you"! The quality of the meal was very poor, to sum it up ......it was a microwave meal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rice was still stuck/baked together in parts , this was bad enough but when there was only two other people in the restaurant eating at the time-no excuse.....i bet the curry is on the 24 hour room service menu to allow a "cook" to microwave it.

The best thing was the fact that you provided soya milk and a veggie option for breakfast. Also the proximity to the arena was very handy as we were tierd after Katy Perry and wouldn't have wanted to walk far!

The staff were very friendly, the service in the bar/restaurant was excellent & the room was very clean & comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel Paid £81.00 and that didnt include breakfast. I thought the price of breakfast was a bit much, at £7.95.

The restaurant/bar had a good selection and was well priced. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The room was far too hot which I understand the staff had very little control over. The aircon was not efficient, but the staff had offered lighter blankets which was good. On arrival I was informed of the 'good night guarantee' which I found quite negative.
