Staff extra friendly and welcoming
The man in reception was very helpful and polite and the rooms were nicely decorated and lovely and clean.
One of the beds in the room wasn't made up and had no bedding so had to ask for this. Also there weren't many towels.
Your staff were extremely attentive to our needs very friendly and helpful breakfasts very good would stay again no problem
Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable we did not get a good night's sleep Saturday or Sunday we did inform your staff about this and they were very understanding would still stay with you again
The breakfast was good staff friendly The food in the attached 'resteraunt' was obviously targetted at families and was fine for that purpose.
The food in the attached 'resteraunt' was obviously targetted at families and was fine for that purpose, but a bit roudy for someone without children in tow.
A all you can eat is next door ;-)
clean room, proximity to venue, comfortable beds.
having children in second room who were on a different floor of the hotel
Loved the beds nice and comfy a little confusing on how to work the lights with the card but once we sorted it out all was good. A very nice friendly atmosphere.
Wifi wasn't very good, Too slow and needs to be a little cheeper.
The TV didn't work saw receptionist who said she couldn't do anything about it while the morning
Attached Taybarn restaurant is very good
noisy children running about in room above bed small and uncomfortable taybarns next door for meals was dirty and behind with poor cheap food for breakfast with kids serving themselves and poking it
Bathroom design was superb.
The fan in the bathroom was noisy.
This hotel offers the option of Soft and firm pillows which was fantastic as my family prefer different types. The breakfast inclusion was cheap and delicious and it is great that there is a restaurant and bar attached. The room was very clean and all bedding and towels were fresh and the staff were happy to assist us with opening doors and offered to help with carrying cases and prams. Overall it was a very pleasant stay
I liked the cleanliness and the spaciousness of the family room. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Being next to Taybarns was great - breakfast was superb.
The heat in the room was unbearable.
As I arrived extremely late in the evening it was nice to be greeted by name and offered a room in a out of the way corner of the hotel to allow me to unwind and get a good nights sleep without being disturbed.
easy location to M1 and very friendly staff.
usually have a good nights sleep at premier inns but a rowdy group of guests at 2.00 in the morning and a very loud snorer next door kept me awake.
Clean tidy room with a proper bed for child
Kids were running around the corridor early morning and making a noise. I have kids and would respect others.
good rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good location for motorway.
we had a room on the ground floor, when the people above on the first floor walked around the floor creaked and squeaked, the people on the first floor were early risers and late to bed, we were kept awake and woken up. told reception and they said something was being done about this.
It was clean
A lot of veteran car owners decided to check out each other vehicles at 1.00 am. This lasted at least 1 hour. The booking in was a joke, it took 25 minutes, god knows what would happen if they had a coach pull in.
It was clean, and fine for an overnight stop.
Booking in, total joke.
The room was large and comfortable. And, very clean.
The separate buffet style restaurant was fine for breakfast, although we're not big fans of buffets. We went there for a late lunch after checking in. The restaurant was quite full of annoying, loud, bratty kids...running wild. Parents seem to think it's a playground. For that reason, we only at breakfasts (prepaid) and had no lunches or dinners for the three nights we were there. We ate those meals elsewhere. Dare I suggest that instead of your policy of kids eat free, it should be "20 pounds per child per meal"? I know....I'm dreaming.
nice clean room helpful staff plenty of space for my walking aid as I need it most of time. food next door very good.
was disappointed as no shower.i couldn't get in bath but was let as disabled room.
room was large and well thought out, the bed was very comfortable and the linen was very good quality, immaculately clean throughout. the staff in the hotel were very pleasant and helpful.
i was unimpressed with some of the staff at the restaurant. to have the chef and the serving staff arguing and shouting at each other across the restaurant floor is not conducive to repeat business even if the food is good. the room at the hotel was impossibly hot in the heatwave, even with a fan
Would have preferred more choice other than 'as much as you can eat' for £8.75 - would have preferred a choice of bacon sandwich, egg on toast, etc. As it was we didn't bother.
