Great atmosphere good staff
Nothing everthing ok
Perfect for short journey on foot to Ponds Forge
Uncomfortable bed, bathroom smelt damp.. Room 432 if you want to check, chef unprepared for early rush of guests
Great location, lovely restaurant and staff
The location, discount at the NCP, quiet comfortable rooms
The fact that the children's beds were not in the room when I arrived at 9pm & not enough bedding or towels
Room was clean
Could hear other guests in room above they were very noisy till early hours
Very friendly helpful staff, excellent quiet room (lots of pillows, kettle, bathtub etc)
Not so keen on the breakfast (I've been before, so didn't have their breakfast this time).
The staff were very professional and available at all times. They refunded the amount paid for wifi when we complained that the wifi was very slow due to the number of guests connecting. The location is perfect..very central! The price for the room was reasonable.
The bed was a little bit small for a double bed. The wifi was extremely slow and would disconnect frequently.
Nice large room and ensuite. Excellent comfortable bed. Easy access. Great central location.
Hotel rooms are always on the warm side at night.
Good value for money, comfy beds, good breakfast.
My 6 year old daughter woke up with bites in her neck suggesting bed bugs perhaps in the pillows?!
Restaurant was excellent
Had to request a hair dryer, internal phone not working
Ticked all the usual Premier Inn boxes
No free wifi
Nothing - booked hotel last minute came from London to a funeral with a disabled person and two young children quickly learnt could not gain immediate and quick access to building and it had no carpark so stayed somewhere else
Still billed for not coming
Brilliant location would highly recommend
The hotel location is right in the city centre; rooms very functional, comfortable and spotlessly clean. James on reception is an excellent ambassador for Premier. A good Premier Inn. It also has a bar and restaurant, which I didn't get to use, but which were an unexpectedly bonus for this chain.
Only issue, being in the city centre is parking. The hotel has an arrangement with the NCP Hartshead Square multistorey which gives a discounted rate. Be aware that if you have an early start on a Sunday that you cannot get your car out before 10:00 a.m.
The ease of getting into the city, short walk from train station
We visited the hotel for new years. We was greeted by a lovely lady on reception who was very welcoming and friendly. The room was immaculate and clean. The bed was so comfy and truly one of the best nights sleep we have ever had! We opted for the breakfast next morning and was warmly welcomed by the ladies in the restaurant- nothing was too much trouble and they all went that extra mile to ensure we was happy at all times. We have now decided that we will always stay with premier inn in future!!
We stayed here New Years Eve. Staff and our room was excellent. No negatives at all. Will stay again.
Hotel is in a good location in town centre You know what to expect from Premier inn. Staff were nice and we slept well.
Had to park in NCP, which is very close but £15 overnight. Ouch!
Spacious room nice and clean good bathroom lots of counter space round the sink to put my products out,
The breakfast was a let down... Nowhere near as good as newcastle and Bristol premier inn'S....lots of empty trays on hot plate people all hanging around waiting for cooked breakfast trays to be filled..no clean cups or plates out... Had to ask very disorganised..
Breakfast! Location was good.
Was difficult to find because of one way systrm. Room was not well lit and a bit too warm for us.
Ideal for easy access to city. Good breakfast after comfortable night. Helpful staff.
Entrance doesn't look inviting.
I got followed on the first morning and had my 11 year old son with me so put me of the place straight away!
the efficiency of the staff to sort out my cold room it warmed up quickly. the breakfast was good to but on check in they asked if we would like breakfast so i told them it was already booked and it was fine considering the tiny hic-cups i would go back there as it is close to all amenities..
i noticed that the room was cold when we first got there so found the control pad and thought i had turned it on but when i came back from my evening out i rang to say it was not on and it was sorted out straight away. we had to wait a couple of minutes after check in as they had had a very busy night the night before and wanted to make sure our room was ready.
