Please could staff at the desk check whether customers have seen the pay and display sign in the car park!
Exceptionally charming and helpful staff. Decent sized room. Pleasant, no-nonsense decor and comfy bed, with a chaise-longue under the window: loads of space to relax. Superb breakfast. Most impressive of all was the sound proofing - we were unaware of any other guests except at breakfast, and though our room fronted onto the inner ring road, it was virtually inaudible from our fourth floor room.
No shaver point; wi-fi sign-up too complex for us to be bothered for a single night; crucial information (e.g. how to contact reception) was missing from our room.
Parking onsite. The Bar restaurant was very good value and selection good, service was OK but needs to be more orientated to the customer as opposed to the employees. Customers are a secondary consideration, employees come first.
Parking was expensive.
The front of house staff were exceptionally helpful, efficient, true to their word, nice with everyone. The breakfast was well worth the money, cooked to perfection and not too much ready at a time so was very fresh. Parking was no problem at all. Everywhere was spotless. Mentioned about the mattress too hard for our liking, was sorted by the time we got back thanks to the receptionist. Would highly recommended.
The only complaint we have is that on the second day of our stay the housekeeper knocked the door 3 times even though we had the 'do not disturb' sign outside...she even opened the door on the second occasion. This was mentioned to receptionist and we were assured that it would be addressed.
Location, ease of checking in
Free wifi limited to 30 mins
I liked the size of our room although I had booked a disabled room by mistake but this didn,t matter. I liked the restaurant ,excellent breakfasts, friendly staff and comfortable seating. The small lounge area was very nice also and not forgetting our favourite coffee Costa.
I would have liked more tea bags and coffees as just 2 of each is a little bit tight maybe 3 would be better
The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff very friendly and helpful.
Not being able to open a window.
There was nothing to like about my stay at the premier inn
Selection of Beverages in the Bar is Poor. No Parking facilities if you arrive later in the day. The bed was uncomfortable. The desk staff made check inn and payment awkward to say the least. The list goes on ...................
All away from home comforts and needs were met.
Couldn't open windows which I understand from h&s point of view but I prefer fresh air.
Good location and handy restaurant.
Left stood waiting to ask the reception for a taxi number for almost 10 minutes whilst they chatted to the couple in front even after they had checked in. Parking isn't obvious and we had to navigate the one way system several times after driving past the car park.
The room was very good, we did ask for a ground floor room but we were put on the first floor, no problem.
Limited parking is very limited. We stayed two nights and parking was £16. Drink prices a bit steep but there's a Weathspoons near.
Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for the young friendly staff. I was sorry to have to leave.
The hotel is new and the service is good.
The wifi costs GBP 3 but is extremely slow.
Room was clean and comfortable. Receptionist when I arrive was friendly and welcoming
They had run out of sachets of milk for the bedrooms and people had to go down to the bar to get fresh milk [although free of charge].Breakfast could have been better organised. I had to wait 10 minutes after being seated to place my order for a cooked breakfast and I was working and needed to be quick. They ran out of bread and did not replenish until someone asked them to and the same for the sachets of jam and marmalade. There did not seem enough staff to ensure it ran efficiently. When I left, the receptionist did not ask whether I'd had a good stay or how it had been - she appeared uninterested and unfriendly.
Location, restaurant services
Absence of a bath tub/basin.Drainage on the floor was sluggish.
I booked single room but the receipt said 2 people no good for claiming expences - no reduction when i complained - no refund when i had to leave day early
Comfortable accommodation, centrally located, competent and friendly staff
The bar does not have ( and apparently never has had) any Worcester Sauce. The absence of this condiment renders tomato juice unpalatable. A bottle of Lea and Perrins behind the bar costs very little, lasts a long time and wouldn`t wobble the profits of Whitbread.
Location, staff superb nothing too much trouble, pleasant. Ease of parking and check in
Bed a bit hard, food poor. Breakfast time badly organised lack of plates etc, had to hang around for hot food replenishment. Waited 40 minutes for muffins while they were defrosted.
All the staff were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, especially reception and a big special thanks to Sue.
Some tissues in the room would have been appreciated and also a couple of extra glasses for the bathroom. These are very minor niggles!
Nice hotel, new, very quiet
Wi fi 30 mins free is not, you have to use in one hit and not as stated. I complained and got a voucher. Phoned to ask for a feather pillow as they promise "everything", they said they would call back, no call, no pillow.
Loved the location.. lovely friendly staff.. and spotless. 2nd time we stayed here and would do so again... Thanks for a nice relaxed 3 days...
Nothing at all....all was perfect for us..
Very bad signposting to the car park at the rear from both directions of travel, all very unclear.
Everything ideal fir what we wanted
Coming in at night around the back felt a little unsafe dark
