I had booked and paid for a room labelled triple room with one adult and one 12 yr old son . After a long drive and arriving at 8 o clock in the evening only to find the double bed made up and only one set of towels. Being too tied to report this to reception I waited until morning . My son and I shared the double bed for the first night ( not a good nights sleep ) I spoke to two members of staff at 8 o clock the next morning , and they both said they would sort things out . after a long day of sailing for my son , came back to the room twelve hours later to find the room had not been touched . I call in at reception and spoke again to a member of staff who did eventually arrange the room as had it had been booked. My son claimed the single sofa bed was very uncomfortable as the springs were digging into him. Some friends of ours who had booked into the same hotel at the same time also commented the same about the single bed springs . We use Premier inn accommodation quite regularly , it was not a good two nights sleep on this occasion ! Steve And Nick Welbourn.
Extremely helpful, pleasant, and friendly. Indeed all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing really. Personally I prefer a meal to be served, but that is just a personal choice.
Polite and friendly staff, comfort, good nights sleep and lovely breakfast.
Nothing to dislike
To be very the room was very clean
Bath had a large chip in that had obviously been tried to be hidden by the bath mat. Room extremely basic for £100 a night. More like a £50 room really.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful
I didn't like being allocated a disabled access room by Booking. Com when it was not requested. The attached restaurant provided mediocre food and the tables and menus were sticky with previous drinks that had not been wiped up properly
Pleasant and helpful staff. With the exception of towels to which I referred. Good restaurant with a good selection of meals. Overall excellent!
Only one towel was supplied in a room with two persons
friendly staff,good food,nice location.
Watch out !!! Booking.com told us we paid for bed and breakfast...when we got to the hotel they said we hadn't...we had to pay again for breakfast...watch out!!
Easy to reach Disabled room facilities excellent Excellent breakfasts and service overall
Don't advertise WiFi if it's non-existent then charge for it Reception problems - only 5 channels available on TV
very quiet rooms, comfy bed.
bar was poor and staff were hard to find. had to wait a long time before anyone came to serve us on 2 occasions. We were overcharged and told by the receptionist we would have to take it up with the manager. On the second day another receptionist sorted it for us but was critical of her colleague. Food was dull pub fair.
All things Premier...
Smell of incontinence on the seats in the pub
Our room and bed were very comfortable, and we both had a great sleep. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stroll along the canal right beside the hotel.
Not a dislike - more a caution! Travelling without a car, we hadn't bargained for there being so little public transport to nearby Skipton (the hotel describes itself as Skipton North). Be prepared to use cabs to get there, especially at weekends.
Location for canal walks, and near Malham, Skipton, Settle and Bolton Abbey which we had planned to visit in a long weekend. Well designed room with good mirrors, lighting and storage
No lounge to get together, with friends who were also staying but an adjacent Brewers Fayre had couches where we could meet, Wi fi only free for half hour No radio channel on TV set
clean comfortable good staff
the food in the anchor inn evenings was poor on the second night we looked elsewhere as did others your missing a good slot Also people where asking to have the music turned down but where told it wasnt allowed
The location is convenient for Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. The staff were very helpful and sorted out all the problems (but the problems were various and shouldn't have happened in the first place.)
The noisy extractor fan outside Rooms 2 and 3 kept us awake all night; the rooms we were relocated to had air conditioning and locked windows rather than fresh air and were still very hot; and the room my brother was moved to was infested with fruit flies. Although Premier Inn advertises cheap rooms, it is not cheap to stay there. You can only access about three channels on TV.
Super location to access the dales, very convenient family friendly restaurant with in and outdoor play. We had the family room, very good size and value for money. Highly recommended.
Had to pay for wifi after 1/2 hr,
we had problems with our travelling arrangements and Premier Inns were extremely sympathetic. Thank you. Both Skipton and Liverpool Airport hotels couldn't be faulted.
We come from Melbourne Australia and this is the third time we have stayed at your facility at Gargrave. We will stay again next year. Thank you.
The level of the music in the Restraint in the evening was to loud, unable to hold a conversation between friends.
the cleaniness and comfort of room
we felt the quality of the food at the restuarant could have been better, although the breakfast was fine.
Easy to get to and close to some beautiful little villages on the edge of the Dales.
The room was comfortable and most staff friendly. A great location for the Dales. A good quality breakfast.
Too expensive for what you get. Breakfast should have been included in the price. Main meal was poor in terms of quality and amount. WiFi should be free at this price!
A comfortable air conditioned room located close to beautiful countryside.
very good prmier inn will stay again
The quality of the room was excellent with good temperatures and great comfortable beds. The location was excellent with it being set back from the road. Good quality television with new facilities such as USB jacks.
The attached Brewers Fayre pub which was the only the place to eat was poor. The food service was a bit slow, and the pub ran out of beer. I assume this is because there was no-one capable of changing a barrel. Also people were quite loud outside the pub after midnight, this backed onto our room and did delay us getting to sleep.
We came up with friends to do the Yorkshire Tough Mudder, so it was great to come back to the inn for a long hot soak in the bath and a good nights kip.
Fancy charging for wi-fi. Never sayed anywhere that does this before!!!
