The location is very good. The rooms are clean but very basic.
The carpets in the hallway and rooms are old and look run down. If you are allergic to dust then do not stay in this hotel. The breakfast is basic and the coffee is very bad.
Really nice receptionist, she made us very welcome and was very helpful.nice comfy bed, would definitely stay again
No issues with anything
Shower was really good, unusual in England.
For a premier inn loud. Breakfast ok but very slow on the first day. Are for coffee, cereal and so on very small causing queues. One coffee jug, meaning it was filled every 10 minutes!
Great reception staff
I paid for a breakfast but was told that I would have to wait 40 mins. That would have made me late, fortunately desk staff offered a refund
Not a lot
Fire alarm going off early hours of the morning had to stand outside for ages
The attached pub and restaurant. Very noisy. The staff were adequate. Not really friendly. Food not that good.
The dark skinned receptionist was exceptionally welcoming with a lovely persona.
Access to car park without having to bother the reception staff. Decor.
Paper thin walls allowing us to hear everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) the couple next door were up to!!!! GROSS!
clean towels daily
water leak round toilet then being moved upstairs to another room
Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff!
Room was a little hot!
friendly greeting and standard room as you would expect. Plenty of parking.
location - stay in the premier inn closer to the M42. The pub used for meals is a typical town pub in a poor area. food not good.
Friendly staff an excellent breakfast. Really good value!
The staff were good and helpful. The location was good for my purposes. The restaurant was fine but not excellent--it was OK for the money. The room was roomy and the facilities, shower, bed, pillows, etc very nice.
It was a bit pricey @ £65 considering the competiton around. But I guess that is Birmingham for you.
Friendly Staff Great Breakfast Close to Nandos
No Bath in my room. Wasn't aware of this before arrival as I have never had a Premier Inn room without a bath
I always use premier they knock spots off Travel Lodge
no bath in our room
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady on reception on Sunday night (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who gave me two chocolate biscuits and listened to me moan about my horrendous journey down! It was lovely after such a long journey to see a friendly face
My only issue was the room temperature and try as I might I couldn't get it to lower, I probably should've asked but after five hours travelling I just collapsed!
Good location , friendly
Too hot and sticky even with Fan, too noisy to have window open. and three dead flies on desk .....
It was real value for money. The staff were professional & courteous. We found that the shower was not working in the room allocated & were immediately given a different one.
Nothing to dislike
Staff were so friendly and helpful from the minute we checked in until we left. Plenty of room in the car park until the restaurant opened.
Room was far too hot, the fan helped. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel wasn't very clean, dirty cutlery and tables, which is a shame because the food wasn't too bad.
The incredibly cheerful and helpful receptionist when booking in. Nothing too much trouble and service with a smile - well done!!
The cooked breakfast was cancelled due to some incident leaving only the continental breakfast option - great for continentals but not for someone who has a hard days work ahead. Vouchers for maccies would have been a good 'get out'. No plan B!
Joy on reception on arrival was a mine of information and help. Liked the offer of a cool sheet in heat which I accepted.
30 minute wait for food when some staff sitting around - so not busy. No apology for delay etc:-
The room was very large and clean, the hotel is an old building that has been turned into hotel so is a bit quirky but comes up to the standards you expect from premier inns, girl on reception was very friendly
The move to a quiet room, the emphasis in the whole hotel on quiet movement, the very friendly and helpful staff, superb design and cleanliness of the room, best of all an extremely comfortable bed- superior value for money and we will be back.
