Easy check in Breakfast Nice bath
The alarm went off in the middle of the night due to electrical problem in the first floor. We had to wake up during the night and was not able to sleep for half an hour.
Convenient to restaurant Breakfast was OK - plenty of choice, even if it was a little expensive Staff were excellent Free 30 min Wi-Fi was fine for a quick check of e-mails
The curtain rail was broken in my room, which I reported, and said not to worry about it until after I'd left as I had closed my curtains OK
Despite requesting a room away from the restaurant as we have stayed here before & found it noisy, our room was right above it so we could hear furniture being moved around at closing time
The lady on reception couldn't have been any more helpful. She was a lovely pleasant lady. Nothing was too much trouble for her. had the best night's sleep in a very long time.
The Staff, the location & the comfort of the room
Took a while to sort out the heating which we needed as the window had been left open for our arrival. It was a bit chilly when we arrived at 9.30pm on a miserable November's evening.
Staff very friendly ,room recebntly refurbished was excellent
Throw in the wifi
would not pay for WIFI
Convenient location, friendly staff and excellent facilities.
WiFi was not working
Just off M3. Easy access to Southampton. Wide car parking spaces. Good soundproofing.
Only 2 tea / coffee sachets provided but extras provided on request at reception.
Staff were very helpful and organised a taxi for us and the restaurant was very good for food and meant we could just chill out the evening we stayed there. Location is good and thought the traffic noise would be a problem but it wasn't - we had a great nights sleep.
Location, breakfast very good value. Overall great stay.
Loud music from bar beneath my room kept me awake til midnight, when I had needed an early night
Everything. Great location for the ferry, easy access, clean and spacious accommodation, friendly staff, free car parking.
Very helpful staff and the bed was very comfortable.will definately go back.
It was expensive
The cleanliness. Even impressed my cleanmad granddaughter.
Excellent receptionist I inadvertantly booked 2 rooms (not computer literate ) and she went to the trouble of contacting Booking.com to resolve the problem ! Cannot thank Aggie enough for her help . As we had travelled from S Wales for a christening it could of been a very expensive trip! The staff in the resteurant and hospitality were equally friendly. A very relaxing stay .
We enjoyed everything and have no negatives
Always good quality rooms and beds. food and ale very good
The receptionist was lovely and made a huge fuss of our children and remembered their names the next morning.
We stayed here with our little family as a pit stop between legoland and dorset steam fair ... Our car broke down on the way and a quick call to the hotel and they were fab they let us in rather late and were very welcoming ... The room was fab, I love premier inn ... Exactly what it says on the tin, had a fab night sleep and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before setting off ... What more do you want?
Friendliness, happy to help
The restaurant at breakfast time seemed shortstaffed, we waited for 90 minutes for a cooked breakfast
Having a 3 month old baby we didn't want to travel 200 miles to Southampton on the day of our Ferry to the Isle of Wight so decided to look for some overnight accommodation close to the ferry port. The "Premier Inn" in Eastleigh is only a 20 drive minute from the ferry port so it was perfect, it's just off junction 13 of the M3 so we didn't need a big detour. Even though the hotel is situated next to the slip road for the M3 we didn't hear any traffic noise at all and thankfully neither did our baby who only woke up for her normal early hours feed. The receptionist was very helpful (please pass on our thanks, we checked in on Sunday 14th Sept at approximately 4:30pm) they even reserved us a table for our evening meal as we were being joined by my sister in law along with her husband and our niece who were staying in a different hotel (which from the impression they gave wasn't as nice as this place). The combined 2 course evening meal & breakfast deal for guests is great value if you prefer the look of the more expensive menu items like mixed grills or steaks otherwise it might be cheaper to pay for the meals separately. We will definitely look at booking here again the next time we go on holiday to the Isle of Wight or need to stay in this area. Breakfast was lovely although I thought it would be buffet style which is what I have been used to in the past staying at a Premier Inn, this isn't a negative as you can still order as much or little hot food items as you like (if you prefer a full english like me) or you can still help yourself to drinks, toast & continental items. I think this is more down to the serving facilities of the on pub/restaurant on each individual hotel site. All in all it was a great start to our first family holiday with our bay.
Nothing that i can think of.
Staff we're welcoming on arrival and catered to the needs of a family with young children. Taking into consideration, safety and comfort during the stay. I had no concerns approaching the staff with help. Facilities at this premier inn was good. The restaurant was clean, friendly staff, good menu including childrens choices and we all enjoyed premier breakfast. We also wer able to have a takeaway on collection to return to the bedroom which was all served well and plates collected from room next day. The bedroom was all ready on arrival including all beds made up. Which is great when you have returned from a day out with the children. Drinks and TV facility in the room. Had everything we needed. Slept very well considering location so near to busy road. Location of premier inn was ideal as it was close to all places we were visiting. New forest and peppy pig world. I would return to this premier inn again if I was returning to the area.
There is only a couple of things to mention. First the cost. We paid £165 for two nights. I think the accommodation and services was good so I did not mind paying this however when you add breakfasts on top you are paying around 200 pond. I would have liked premier to offer a better deal. On the second night, fresh towels were provided, and new refreshments. Bins were also emptied. I would have liked the option of having bed sheets changed. Beds were not made well. However this was not a significant worry.
1. The food in the restaurant was nice. 2. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
1. Family emergency came up(lost a senior family member back home), we have to check out one day earlier. Paid in full for 2 nights at checking in but only stayed for 1 night. Would be nice if we could have a partially refund for the night we didn't stay. 2. Have to pay for WiFi which other hotels supply for free.
Cleanliness was fantastic, facilities were good, Staff were friendly.
One of the beds was very uncomfortable, it had a big dip which made sleeping very difficult. We struggled to get food as we were told we had to book a table at the restaurant.
