Premier Inn Southampton North  

Good location for us. We were picking up cruise passengers and found the journey to the terminal straightforward so suited our purpose very well.

The first room we were directed to smelled of cigarette smoke but the female receptionist was very helpful in selecting an alternative room for us which was much fresher. Bit on the pricey side when compared with competitors.

Poor service at Beefeater on site . 1.5 hour wait for main meal.

The staff were extremely friendly and paid our young son a lot of attention and provided him with colouring etc.

Not something I didnt like, but something I believe would improve the experience would be a play area for children in the pub garden.

No phone service in the room so had to go outside to use phone. unable to connect to wifi again due to no service connection in the room

Arrival staff very friendly. Breakfast staff very friendly and food choice excellent and great food

Evening meal staff not very friendly.very slow service 50 minute wait for food and only warm when served

The very helpful reception staff in particular Sam who was exceptional in her desire to assist and make you welcome.

Close to the venue were we were going the following day. Also the Ballmorall resteraunt was excellent.

We as a Family were Very Impressed with The Friendliness of the Staff. Nothing was to much trouble for them. A nice Friendly smile and greeting when you came in and went out.

The bathroom floor is the only problem as in a lot of hotels, it smelled of urine

Good location friendly staff comfortable.Food very good.My first visit to a Premier Inn but it will not be my last all excellent.

The price, it was obvious with the southampton boat show on that hotels were goinhg to profitier, bud not expect that from the large budget hotal chains, but they were not on their own or the worst

it was fairly local for the city by car the bed was fab comfortable clean and so was the room

The area was rough and the actual Inn was also rough dated tired and smelly

Clean, Easy, Freindly, excellent location to Peppa Pig World, staff were very informative and freindly, and the onsite beefeater was awesome !

The only thing which was a problem, but I know you cant do much about the weather, the night of Monday 20th august 2012 was so hot and humid, the room temperature was above 26 degree c, and no Air Conditioning, that was the only bugbear. I have stayed in premier inns all of the country and I believe some have a/C.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness very good ,nice size rooms. In a quiet location. Breakfast excellent next door at the beefeater. Good base for visiting the local attractions.

Hotel was excellent, but the noise of the children in the dining room was overpowering.

Its not the hotels fault,but the pub next to the hotel was not good.We only had breakfast.The worst we have ever had,not only us,a few more was saying the same.

Good value for money and an ideal place to stay before embarking on a cruise.
