We got a good deal on the price-presumably as the restaurant was closed for refurb. The room was very clean & the bed was really comfortable.
Despite the hotel not being full, we were given a room with a poor view, a very small bathroom & no hairdryer. It was also very hot.
Staff was very friendly and very helpfull. I've stayed in a lot of hotels this is my favourite
One of the best Premier lnns I have stayed in .Jackie on the desk could not have been more Helpful.Very Clean rooms, food excellent .Could not be bettered. Many Thanks Sean & Caroline
The staff were lovely especially sue who received me the day I arrived.
There's no phone connection. We had to leave the hotel to make calls.
This was an excellent premier inn to stay at the staff were lovely and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the stay I had was good. The staff were also great in the beefeater nect door.
Clean rooms to a high standard. staff very friendly and helpfull
I thought my pillows was not very comfatable and I woke up a few times. But the bed was great. The breakfast I had was swimming in grease so they got me another one but that was still the same did not taste nice at all. But on the night time I had the fillet steak and the food was excellent
Food was good The Beefeater staff couldn't do enough for you.
Lack of communication between Hotel & Beefeater.
Comfy bed, nice bedclothes, nice bath towels
Cleanliness of the hotel and all the staff were helpful and were pleased to help with advice about the locality of attractions.
Only fair on sleeping, Too warm could have done with a thinner duvet. Sorry.
The staff learned that I was traveling alone and soon became my family n Ormskirk. Everyone was friendly and we shared stories of our lives throughout the stay. The room was quiet and lovely, but it was the staff that made my stay memorable.
Barely slept a wink as ac was either too cold, or too hot. Heaviest duvet in the world. Upstairs was noisy. Manager was incredibly rude. First and last visit to Premier Inns.
The staff on reception where more than helpful, particularly with regards to the comfort and safety of the 2 year old child who accompanied us.
Our room location, room 7 on the ground floor is opposite the dumping site for the beefeater. On our first night we were woken on numerous occasions as was the child with bottles and rubbish being disposed of loudly in the bins. This caused our first nights sleep to be disturbed and extremely restless for all involved. As this was the day before graduation it had a knock on affect onto our 5am rise for graduation, making the day a bit duller and less enjoyable due to an exhausted toddler who had a broken sleep.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They said any problems at all, come and tell them. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, we were made to feel welcome. Very pleased to find a Beefeater attached, as we enjoy that type of meal.
There is nothing to comment on in this section.
The friendliness of the staff. Their desire that we knew the procedure for breakfast and that we enjoyed our stay. It didn't seem like it was part of check list they were going through but that they had a genuine interest that we enjoyed every aspect of our visit.
I found the room was a little warm but my wife found it ideal - I guess we have different internal themoststs!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Large TV. Lovely continental breakfast served till 10.30 so no need to get up early ! Close to Southport and all its attractions.
Good nights rest, quiet and comfortable.Willingly rearanged location of room on arrival to ground floor because of mobility problems.
The staff were extremely cheerful, polite and helpful. Ideal place for us to stay in this area.
Everything but the price
Tought £68 per night a bit expensive. We paid £50 per night at John Lennon airport and thought that a fair price.
There was no 2 pin socket for an electric shaver.
Rooms excellent very clean. Staff friendly nothing too much trouble. Liked the late check out time.
Breakfast at beefeater wasn't very good. Coffee/tea cold. Beefeater very dark inside no natural light. Only one toaster machine so long que for toast.
From the first welcome to the time we left this hotel this hotel delivered on promise. Ormskirk isn't a great destination in its own right but for us it was an ideal base. The rooms are clean, comfortable, functional and of good size. The pub next door provides for all food and beverage needs. And the staff are really friendly and obliging.
I booked this premier inn for a couple of family members. They stayed for 4 nights, and I paid by credit card at the hotel. They stayed a further day the following week. On that occasion I did not accompany them, but wished to pay. As I had made the booking through Booking.com, the hotel would not accept a card payment by phone. A cheque, apparently, would need 6 weeks clearance, so I offered cash. They would not accept cash unless the guests could provide ID. Why not? Company policy it seems. What is wrong with cash? And it was not as though they did not know who they were, as they had their details on file from the previous week. If we had not honoured the booking, I am sure Premier Inn would have been quick enough to debit my card which I used guarantee payment. Also, why is it necessary to strim the grass outside the bedrooms at 7.30 in the morning?
I thought the staff were amazing !! So friendly and happy and informative , and unintimidating . We arrived very late and they just put us at ease . Soopa comfortable bed and very quiet .
I thought the breakfast could be a bit better . But not bad as such .
We have stayed in Premier Inns in other locations and by far the staff in this one made our stay. The couldn't do enough for us and would be the main reason we would return.
The cooked breakfast in the Beefeater next door was medicore, but they had a good selection of juice, cereals etc. If guests don't have a car it'll cost on average £14.00 per day on taxi's getting in and out of Ormskirk.
