Score from 283 reviews Good
Convenient for our purposes
Poor signposting form main road. Heating in the room was ineffective - too cold
Minutes off the M6,friendly staff, immaculate room, excellent aircom, great bed,and above average "pubgrub" next door.
Only one chair.
Staff attitude and cleanliness...
The comfort of the bed The breakfast
The television did not work
Would definitely stay here again. Family room excellent, bathroom was very clean like new and great breakfast all for a great price.
Good value for money
clean and quite room.
you have to pay for wifi
They allowed me early check-in at 9:30 AM with no extra charges. Also I checked out late at 2:00 with extra charges.
No small fridge in the room. No small bottle of water provided in the room, and there are shops in the area
Quit , clean , good furniture
No mini bar and no washing machine
All was good. Excellent for passing through on the motorway
Just a minor point. To take a shower in the bath could be dangerous without grab rails. They are high baths to get into. Just one glass in the room. Only one water for a double room
Room, pub/restaurant excellent value for money service and facilities. Friendly and helpful welcome and service. Good restaurant and breakfast facilities for our short stay.
Location good for the M6. Next the shire pub was convenient. Good for ongoing travelling north or south.
Breakfast in the pub lounge a bit questionable but ok. The breakfast was not up to standard
The Premier Inn is modern, clean and everything you expect. Staff were friendly Cracking Chinese opposite
The Chef & Brewer next door for breakfast was very poor. It was not clean or tidy. Coffee and hot water were empty for a long time, when filled the coffee tasted like mud and the food stations were all dirty and covered in either water or juices. Food trays were empty and cups and glasses dirty
The location was ideal off the M6; loads of parking space; comfortable bed in a warm spotless room; sensible size TV - not too large but not too small either. Security was good.
Room was very clean and thebed was very comfy
A bit tricky to find in the dark. We ended up going to the wrong premier inn (Spitfire)
Clean room, everything we needed in it, quiet. No complaints.
Generally a good experience as I'd expect of a Premier Inn, only spoilt by early morning noise & disturbance to well needed sleep.
Being awoken at 7 am by someone hammering his fist on a nearby door, shouting to wake up occupant, pretty unsuccessfully. Then between 8-9.00 on a Saturday morning after a late Wedding celebration, having to listen to a family communicating who must have had their separate doors open for 45 mins, running to and fro with no thought of trying to be quiet. There was constant activity in the hallway throughout. Then a Hoover fired up in the hall...for 10 mins. I have previously felt Prem Inn rooms to have had great sound proofing, not now!
Max on the front counter - a real asset to your business - engaging, warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. His knowledge of your good night guarantee/ green credentials i.e. benefits of printing small invoices on CO2 emmissions & cost saving was very impressive. The lovely comfortable bed & the breakfast - streets ahead of Holiday Inn express offering
The bath towels - too small & too thin - need to be a bit more substantial
We had a great stay .It was very good value .We have paid a lot more for less. We will definitely be using Your hotel again. Thank you agents. Alan.
Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast selection excellent and was near my destination
May seem petty, condition of decor was good but found the colour scheme of grey and dark brown depressing...found it soulless. Also, thought having to pay for wi-fi was surprising as the hotel was one of the more expensive in the area
the pub nest door good food.
maybe next time will pick hotel closer to Alton towers long journey no fault of hotel
large family room
not enough towels in the room on arrival
Excellent all over very happy with our stay
Everything apart from being asked to pay for wifi
Paying for wifi - though i just decided not to bother using it.
staff polite and helpful
bath room hand wash shower gels poor
