Location. price, bed
Lack of decent food nearby
No luggage racks
Good friendly staff. Clean and comfortable stay
Rooms too hot, even when supplied with a fan. No air conditioning, only down fall.
Friendly staff and room nice and clean.
Bit of a wait for breakfast on the Monday morning don't know if it was due to lack of staff. Having said that staff were friendly and when it did arrive breakfast was very good.
The staff were excellent - really helpful, friendly and welcoming. You know what you're going to get with a Premier Inn in terms of the accommodation & Stevenage North didn't disappoint.
Leaving to go to a more convenient hotel in terms of location but a let down in all other aspects.
the bed/ very comfortable
breakfast/ poached eggs were like rubber bouncy balls, couldn't be eaten/ my wife had fried eggs, 1 was like a joke shop egg, also couldn't be eaten. it took 45 minutes between sitting at the table and the food being served, other customers returned some of their food (hash browns and eggs) but we were running out of time to make an appointment. worst breakfast I've had at this class of hotel.
Friendly staff willing to help make sure we were comfortable, lovely breakfast at the Beefeater restaurant, room was adequate size for 4x people.
Front desk reception staff
Room temperature Uncomfortable settee bed
Convenient and clean
Room very warm
Reception was pleasant & friendly
After receiving agreement by phone to an early check-in between 11 am & noon, when we arrived at 11.30 am the room was not ready.
lack of aircon
Very helpful staff particularly kind to my elderly disabled father. Nothing was too much trouble.
No air conditioning but fans were provided in our rooms to help with the heat.
Free easy parking Rooms on the ground floor next door to each other Meal deals for children Quiet Friendly staff in restaurant and Inn
Reception counter staff member on our arrival was less than helpful, fortunately this was not the case with everyone else
The space in family room was gd.
Could of had a couple of extra plug sockets.
All the girls on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. All had a good knowledge of the area. Staff and service at the Beefeater next door were also exemplary. Highly recommend people to stay here.
Due to concert at Knebworth, prices were jacked up much higher than normal. Location is a bit of a trek from Stevenage station.
The room and bathroom was extremely clean. Location was good for easy access into Stevenage. Large Sainsburys across the road for all your snack needs.
It is the not the hotels fault as the restaurant is run by another company in a pub on the other side of the car park, but the breakfast situation was awful. You had to order hot food via waitress service which took ages as there only seemed to be 1 person taking orders. Hot water for tea and coffee pots were always empty. As were the bread baskets for toast. Not enough staff to manage it on both days we were there. I would not stay b&b again and would go elsewhere for breakfast.
Most of the staff were really friendly
With no air con in the building it was like living in an oven.....avoid in summer!
As always we are now regulars visiting family! The staff are fantastic can't do enough for you very happy to stay here again
Great hotel as only 30mins from Duxford. The bed was very comfortable and the parking was free. We were warned the room maybe warm (stayed in July) as it has no air-con, but were offered an extra bed sheet and the room had a large fan. As the restaurant / bar was in a separate building we also had the window open as it was very quiet. Breakfast was cooked to order and both mine and my husbands vegetarian breakfast were lovely and the staff were great.
Good location, spacious room and good bar/restaurant adjacent.
Reception was a little unwelcome on arrival - unusual and the first time of many stays.
We were just staying for the one night for my bosses retirement party 2 miles down the road so was convenient for this reason. I accidently booked a disabled room so just be careful when booking as it easy to make this mistake, the lady on the desk said we would have been offered another room but the hotel was fully booked, although she did offer us a room at the other nearby premier inn but some of my colleagues were also staying here so we just kept the room. To be honest it wasn't much different from a normal room and we weren't going to be in it very much, so we were happy enough. It was very warm when sleeping and the window doesn't open very wide but a fan is provided which helps. All in all it was a nice stay and you get everything you expect out of a premier inn.
The breakfast is not very organised,it runs from 7 till 11, we got there about 10.30 and it's very obvious they are already winding down as they had ran out of hot water, juice, bread, plates and spoons which we asked for but it took a long time to get there and the breakfast table itself was very messy. The full English Breakfast was lovely and hot but slightly overpriced for what you get.
As a man who uses premiere inns regular I feel it was not as good as mimms services and I feel regular user should be rewarded thank you graham farrell
Now were to sit with client like mimms sorry
I thought the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Sainsburys was only a 5 minute walk away where a cooked breakfast could be purchased for £4.25.
There was no air-con in the rooms although a fan was provided. There was no fridge (which is unbelievable in this day and age). The windows only slightly opened so no real air could be circulated in the rooms.
Staff were very helpful, gave advice without needing to ask.
The guy on reception at 11 pm who was extremely helpful and welcoming A*
Bed was hard
