In the heart of Manchester, this Premier Inn is a 2-minute walk from Piccadilly train station and the bars of Canal Street. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, modern rooms and a Thyme Restaurant.

Loved the choice of pillows... & a lovely, spacious, clean & dark room..
The receptionist was very friendly when I checked in
They told me on checking in that the restaurant was closing in 15 mins if I wanted food I had to order now it wield have been informed before I arrived because I was not aware of other aces to eat in the area
The front desk staff person was very friendly and welcoming. A lovely person.
The piped in music was awful. Horrible. Did I say it was unbearable?
Friendly welcome by reception staff; excellent size of bedroom; choice of three different softness of pillow to get the best; lovely comfy bed; nice restaurant right next door for a great breakfast.
Aircraft flying directly overhead into Manchester airport were noisy, even with the windows closed. Not a problem for us, but there are no lifts for anyone who may require them for first floor accommodation.
The decor, the bed, the shower, the cleanliness of the room, peaceful and very pleasant staff. I stayed here a year ago, and WHAT a change. Excellent place, will be back for sure.
Stayed for 1 night with my daughter. Staff were very friendly and room was spotlessly clean. Close enough to town if you have some time to spare.
Very friendly and helpful staff: 1) When booking, I had requested both rooms to be on ground floor and next to each other, with extra pillows - all arranged in advance! 2) Brought iron and ironing board straight away when asked for at check-in time. 3) Cigerette Lighter not working in car, so SATNAV not working. Receptionist did her best to look for spare chargers but unfortunately none would fit. Directed us to ASDA but they did not have a universal charger that fitted either! Really appreciated the time and help though! Thank you!
Single Bed for child needed a barrier on wall side (there was a small gap between bed and wall due to radiator), so child felt that she was not secure and felt unsafe - she came to our bed instead! Breakfast should be included as standard to make stay more enjoyable and complete.
Clean, comfortable room with all the facilities needed. Bar with real ale and good value restaurant.
Staff and comfortable room
Staff are always friendly, rooms are immaculate. Great pub next door. Best Premier Inn I've stayed at.
THE ROOM WAS LOVELLY,AND SO WAS THE STAFF, ESPECIALY THE RECEPITION GIRLS
1,first morning bacon was not grilled covered in fat.2 floor area in mens loo was slippery, no sign up to warn you.3 the price was very high because we came at short notice
Comfortable bed and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good variety at breakfast. Excellent for a short stay.
Very satisfied on the whole but a more comfortable chair and perhaps an extra chair in the room would have been welcome.
Wait at reception while staff ensured rooms were available. This should have been sorted earlier. Did not arrive untill 1500
Everything was perfect. Ten out of Ten all the way.
Spacious, clean room. Fantastic shower. Decent enough pub next door serving food. Close enough to the town centre.
Nothing the hotel can do about this but it was quite noisy due to the proximity of the flight path to/from Manchester Airport.
really comfortable and clean room + nice english breakfast
lovely staff, very helpful. nice clean room. loved everything.
Nice building , very close to the town
The cleaners in the morning were very noisy
The Breakfast facilities completely undermines the otherwise excellent standards seen throughout the Hotel. This specifically relates not to the Full English breakfast option but to the Continental option. The LOGISTICS of the operation are clearly designed to save on staff time and costs. And as a man, I suspect it has been determined by a man, and not a woman ! You are constantly obliged to return to the `Breakfast table` in between stages,ie, cereals/toasts etc/ drinks. There is a lack of appropriate items,eg, trays, saucers, teaspoons, small teapots, small milkjugs etc. It is NOT a case of staff not providing these items. `You are spoiling the ship for a hapeth of tar !` Please come back to me on this. It is a serious defect in an otherwise excellent facility.
Staff-excellent Room-great Food - above average
Nothing-apart from I forgot to take my IPad charger when I checked out of my room, and when I called reception a few hours later, having realised, I was told it hadn't been found :(
Friendly helpful staff Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Good town centre location.
Nothing. I would recommend staying here.
The room was bright, clean and very comfortable and much bigger than I had expected. The bed was indeed very comfortable and lived up to the advertisements. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, Premier Inn is let down by the breakfasts which are served in the pub next door. On the first morning we had to wait for at least 10 minutes to be served. Most of the continental breakfast on offer had run out. The fruit on offer looked past its best. The room is dirty with the carpets looking as though they should be deep cleaned or thrown out. There was food on the floor and a dirty spoon on the windowsill. although the outside area of the Premier Inn was clear of rubbish and well cared for, this was not true of the pub. It's a shame because Premier Inn exceeded our expectations.
Recently refurbished, this is probably one of the best Premiers we have stayed in. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.
I was charged £7.00 more than what was stated on my email . I was told someone would get back to me within the next week. Never happened, and I am still out of pocket. Disappointed as I stay often in premier inn. I am lead to believe my custom is not important. Premier inn you have let me don't.
The hotel was newly refurbished and modern. Very good selection of food for breakfast.
The room was very cold even though the heating was turned up. The shower 'pulsed', running fast then slow, very annoying. There were hairs in the bath. I couldn't get my door to lock properly so I put a chair against the door. The food in the restaurant was awful. I ordered steak baguette. The bread was dry, the steak was just fat that I couldn't even chew through and the onions were just chopped up & raw, (I thought they would b cooked). I need to stay in this area another 3tines in the next couple of months but I don't think I will choose a premier inn. Definitely wasn't worth the money I paid.
